I am thinking of doing my landing at the Point Roberts Border Crossing (Tsawassen). According to the CBSA website there is NO immigration services at Point Roberts. However, I saw a couple of posts with successful landing stories at this crossing, but only up until May 2014... But I guess if there was an issue there would be posts as well :P I will let you know if I encounter any issues at this crossing. Will fly down September 9 (no days off before this. gosh...:P)

I did my landing there yesterday. It was easy and all done within 20 minutes.

Hi congrats
How long did it take to get your passport?

I never had to send in my passport. Being a German citizen, Germany is a visa exempt country, I just had to go to a port of entry with my passport and documents.

Hi everybody,

I was on holidays and when I came back I found my COPR in the mailbox (was sent out by CIC on July 20). Checking flights prices at the moment to go down to Vancouver to do my landing :D Good luck to everybody who is still waiting :)

Hi

Congrats, I hope this post gets to the many people on this site who don't think anything has been issued for months.

Thx

Congrats :) I will go down to Vancouver Sept 11 (flight booked a second ago). Hope it wil be as quick and easy as for you.

One more long weekend approaching and still nothing. So boring. :(

Most of the agents are out on vacation, which explains the slow processing lately.

They have confirmed the receipt of our passports on August 7, and they didn't bother mailing them back to us yet, and the return tracker hasn't been activated yet...

I am hoping all the november applicants will be PRs by the end of September!

How do you find out if your country is visa exempt? I am British.

I will be completing 4 years in Canada on Closed Work Permit in March-31st-2015.
My Work permit expired in June-2014, when i applied for Extensiion CIC gave me work permit for another 2 years,
Question is - whether this 4 years rule is really implemented or only on books.
Should i notify to CIC and get it corrected? Seniors please suggest me.
