My husband and I have landed today. Below is our timeline.

App Filed: 25-11-2013
AOR: 13-01-2014
Med's request: 05-06-2014
Med's Done: 13-06-2014
RPRF: 06-06-2014
ECAS Med received: 21-06-2014
ECAS Decision Made: 12-07-2014
Landing Request: 24-07-2014
Landing: 30-07-2014

We did not received any passport request. After one and half month waiting since Medical received, we got an email for the landing appointment. We did landing this morning. Almost half an hour for processing, no questions, no additional documents except our passports, working permits, RPRF receipt and two immigration photos. The VO was a nice lady, she signed the COPR for us and told us the PR card should be ready in 21 working days.

After 8 months, we become PRs. Happy, happy.

Congrats!!
where did you do your landing ? and how did you get your COPR as you got your landing appointment in email ? Are you from a visa exempt country ?

This looks like something different than usual process.

Thank you! You will get PPR soon. Or like us, get the landing appointment directly.

Can you please share more about this landing appointment ?

where did you land - CIC local office or border crossing ?
are you from a visa exempt country ?
how about your COPR - did you get it at the landing time itself ?

Congrats again!! and hopefully you will have a celebration for your PR on the long weekend !! :)

Yes, it is a little different. So I was anxious when I got the email. The landing appointment email just included a call-in notice, a PDF indicating where, when and what to bring for landing. We get our COPR after landing. We are not from a visa exempt country. We did the landing in the local CIC office.

Hi akil_f1,

I also received my GCMS notes just now. The strange thing in notes is, for me it says everything i.e. Eligibility,Security,Criminality and Medicals passed for me but for my wife all these records are empty. is it the same for you? anybody else faced same issue before?

This is interesting. I guess CIC is trying something new or it existed but we were not aware of ..

Can you please share your time line ?

Yes. It is always like that. I requested my GCMS notes two times and in both reports it was blank. It looks like they deliberately remove those content.

I think, your wife needs to request for her GCMS note for her-self. Any body know, is that right?

Yup. You will have to raise a separate request for her. It is normal. Check the notes section in the bottom of the GCMS notes. It will give you some clarity.

Any ECAS updates today? My status is "in progress".

Medicals Received - 21 July
RPRF Paid - 22 July

Waiting for DM and PPR.

Yep, it was empty for my spouse as well.

Due to privacy act you can only able to see your details in GCMS notes; if you want your spouse details to be shown in the notes you will have to provide consent form (IMM5744E) from your spouse duly signed requesting CIC to release the information. While making request for GCMS notes attach consent form and you will able to see the dependent details.

here is the link for consent form: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5744E.pdf
