Now, I am more concerned about this and think VO who assess the 2283 is not available or there are few.
It is obvious that person from medical/mechanical/any other background can not assess the file. Or I should say can not assess the file as accurate as an IT guy can.

May be this is the cause of the delay.

Secondly, in the cap of 12000, Finance and the 2283 was the code who got most of the applicant. I know this because I was waiting to lodge my file and 2283 and during the track of sub cap of 300 I found that, it was the occupation who got the second highest files. First was the Finance though.

Decision made on July 20th still waiting for passport request email.

Interesting to know those facts...
But, my delay is expected since I added my spouse to my application in May 2014 as I got married in April 2014. So I guess it is normal in my case as they didn't touched my file until I submitted them additional requested docs.
On top of that on July 07, 2014 I got email from CIC that CPC-Ottawa DOES NOT accept Application fees via filling out IMM5620 form.
They only accept receipt (PDF) generated right after online payment.
Hence, I then paid application fees for my spouse on July 7, 2014 online and emailed them receipt (PDF).

So, my wait is normal for me but since its end of July 2014. Now, I must hear something from them soon....

I am expecting to get some kind of update in Aug 2nd Week. Till then I hope you guys should get some updates.

Good Luck Guys!!!

Keep Posting...

Congr8ss definitely you will get your PPR soon...
I guess you added your spouse to your application latter while your application was in process ?? right ??
I m still waiting for my PPR. I did every thing upfront (e-meds + rprf).
Still waiting ....

Thanks Rinku for your wishes.

I did not add my spouse to my application later. My spouse was added while i was filing my application in nov-2013 itself.

We did upfront medicals on April 23rd ,2014 . but some reason my ECAS status did not show medicals have been received until last Friday. After that monday (28th July 2014) my ECAS status got changed to "Decision made"

Good to hear for your application got processed very quickly.

Goodluck for the future...

Any updates for other who are still waiting...

Hi Guys,

My ECAS got updated with the following over the weekend.

We received your application for permanent residence on November 19, 2013.

We started processing your application on June 26, 2014.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Now here's the thing, i had requested for GCMS notes online via ATIP and received it last week. I had not submitted a emp reference letter with my PR Apllication and the Visa officer had noted that i did not have one and there was not enough evidence to show i have been working in the NOC code. But he had noted about the letter of explanation and supporting documents like T4, NOA. His recommendation was 'review required by officer'.

So the GCMS notes i received were from 12 - June which was before i got my MR (26 Jun) and RPRF. I am wondering if the review by another officer cleared my case or if its still under investigation. i have not received any requests for additional documents until now. So does Decision Made mean i m through or do they do it if they reject the application as well? i am hoping they don't close my application without checking with me. i have more supporting documents now and couple of my friends suggested not to add anything to my application now unless asked as it might delay the process.

What do you guys think?

Thanks!
