I have landed on 16th July at Rainbow bridge, they took my home address and said that the card will be mailed within 8 weeks. After 2 days I saw my ECAS been updated to complete with my home address been added, but mailing address still showing with my lawyer, Do I need to change the mailing address as well in order to get the card at my home ?
So you send your passport to your consultant ,or you send passport directly to CIC yourself?

If we have applied via consultant ,can we directly send passport to CIC without involving consultant?

did anyones application status has changed today?

Yes you can. If you can get the copy of the email from your Consultant, you are set. We need to send a printout of the email along with the passport.

2. We started processing your application on June 12, 2014.

3. Medical results have been received.

4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

5. You entered Canada at the Regway POE office on July 19, 2014 and became a Permanent Resident.

Thanks again all for your help and guidance through this process, just waiting for the PR card now which I'm sure will come in due time. Good Luck!

Eagerly waiting for PPR... this week should be a lucky week!

I do have one question for people who have gone through the process of sending passport. Does the return address has to be your home address? To be safe, I'm thinking to list my work address as I know the reception will always be there to accept package. Also, based on my reading so far in the forum, we would need a printout of the PPR email, cover letter (with request for passport and all application number info etc.) and the passport. Do we need to write application number on the envelope as well?

I know it may be too early to ask for this information ;D but I want to be ready when I get my PPR.

I didn't put my application number on the envelope. I just printed their e-mail and highlighted all the necessary info. I also printed out a sheet of paper with my info and my husbands info, that is not necessary though, their e-mail already contains all the info, just highlight it, or underline...

Yeah, you can use any address you want, you live in a free country, man, lol ;)

Due to one of our colleagues here loosing his passport when it was returned via Canada Post. I highly recommend that you get the signature option.

Anyone received PPR. It's been long since my status has been updated to medical received in ECAS. It's updated on 22nd June. And have received MR and RPRF on 14 June and 16 June respectively. I paid and updated CIC on 19 th June. It's been more than a month now. Anyone else waiting for PPR. Now it's become hard to track since we lost our november spread sheet.

Is there anyone else waiting for PPR for more than a month???

I believe there are lot of us in the same boat. My ECAS got updated with Medical received on June 11th and paid RPRF on June 2nd. No PPR yet :) My ECAS changed to Decision Made this Saturday...I think we have to wait it out. Processing times are not consistent.
