I got PPR yesterday. My medical received is July 7th. Did medicals on 28June.(medical request is on may28th).

Did your status change on ECAS that the medical was recvieved on July 7th ?

I am an applicant for CEC class and I stay in Canada but my spouse is in India. How can we both do our upfront medicals as I have a UCI number and AOR letter too with only my name on it.
Can my spouse use the same number and get his medicals done? Kindly reply.. :)

Also I got rprf request and I paid the fee but still no MR request from them.. :)
Any replies will be of grt help Thank you.. :)

They must have sent to you MR as well.. Don;t do upfront medical now.. you are so close.. it is better to wait..
Check your SPAM folder etc.. if you hired lawyer ask them to check again on ur MR request

Hi! Would like some perspective from other people. We landed on July 14th at Niagara Falls(rainbow bridge) and awaiting PR card. The problem is that we had booked vacation outside of Canada way before and now we don't know if we can re enter Canada without PR card? Has anyone been in a similar situation? Is there any one time document to re enter the country? Should we just cancel ? Everything is non refundable. Does anyone know how we can contact CIC for email? Thanks in advance!

Hi there, I am also having the same issue, although I havent landed yet (waiting for PPR) and my vacation is not until christmas.

Anyways, what i have found out so far, is that you shouldnt have any problem to get into the country, due to the fact that you are officially a permanent resident and you are in the immigration system. However, the only issue is that sometimes, if you are from a VISA required country, Airlines might not let you take the plane unless they can verify you cant get into the country; and they only way you can prove that to them is with a PR card or a VISA.

Please seniors correct me if i am wrong.

Regards,

Nacho

If you dont have PR card or Visa then apply for PR travel document in your home country.
