Application filed: 30novrmber ,2013 AOR :16 January 2014 . Status : application received. But $550.00 has been charged from my account on 22nd may ,2014. Now what to understand ?

The application fee has taken a LONG time to appear on your statement.

Guys, need one more clarification. I paid the RPRF through Canadian bank CC but from India, as I am in India right now and CIC is having my India address (changed my address).

In the PDF receipt, do I need to fill the India address or this needs to be the address from the credit card? I am confused here. Please help.

Thanks

Congrats....this is PPR....I believe you filed your app on Nov 8...

You need to get two xpresspost paid envelopes if nothing has changed in terms of your family etc...put your passport in along with the printout of the "Ready for visa" letter and mail it to Ottawa...

Your "Ready for Visa" letter will tell you exactly what you need to send and where you need to send it....

Can anyone put my timeline on spreadsheet?

App sent: Nov 18
App receive at CIO: Nov 20
AOR receive: Jan 07
Status at ECAS: Application Received
MR: May 28

Hi Guys,

Just received a request for additional documents from CIC.

The request states the following:

Employment records:An original and recent letter of employment indicating the start date, annual or hourly rate of pay, and regular hours per week from XYZ (firm name removed).

The problem is that that job was during my off campus work permit and should not count towards the experience required for CEC. I have provided documents for 1+ year after graduation. How can I clarify that to CEC? Or should I ask my previous employer to get this arranged. The employment was over 3 years ago.

Please email with the entire situation. You off campus work permit start and end date and then your qualifying job experience start and end date. If you have been employed with the same company after your full time work permit, it is a god idea to send them the latest experience letter, T4 and notice of assessment.

It is always a good idea to provide them with copies of off campus work permit and full time worker permit. The visa/work permit and permanent residence people assess files differently.

Thanks for your reply. I was employed at a different organization after graduation.

Got the email from CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca. Reply to the received email will be sufficient?

Yes please. If you explain the entire situation with sufficient data, it will be enough. I had landed last year and they had raised similar concerns regarding my employment ( I saw it in GCMS notes as they didn't use to send these queries then). Please, if you can, send them your ECAS registration etc etc so that they have no room for guesswork. If you send it today, most likely you will get MR within the next 7 days.
