I see people from April are getting MR and PPR now..I think they are quite fast now...

AOR received today, Appl received 25th Nov, Money order charged as of 9th January.

Could anyone tell me the CEC link where to check if my file is transferred to visa office. Also I am not sure if I have to use the UCI no or Application no to check the file transfer status.
Thank you everyone who provided feedback during my application filing and later.

yeaha :D got my AOR today:

Application sent: Nov 11
Application received: Nov 18
Mode of payment: Bank draft
AOR received: Jan 10, 2014
Good luck to everybody who is still waiting!

And as this is not enough, I also have a question: I paid my 550CAD ONLINE on Nov 5 (at this point it was still possible to do this). Then they changed it on Nov 9 and it was not allowed to pay online anymore. I called my credit card company but could not cancel the payment (since the card had not been charged yet). So I attached a bank draft (550CAD) to my application and a letter that explained the whole thing to CIC and asked them to refund me one of the 550CAD I paid. WHat happened then:
- My credit card got charged for 550CAD on Nov 7
- when I got AOR today it stated: "This correspondence also acknowledges receipt of your payment dated DEC 20, 2013 in the amount of 550 Canadian dollars." so I assume they cashed my bank draft.

So my question: Anybody here who did the same? How do I get the money back? 1,100CAD for this seems a bit high ;) I guess case I just wait and see what happens...

some guys from AINP program got their MR a month after they received AOR... would be praying the'll do that also to us.. :)

Go to the CIC site and search GCMS. You will get the link. Its pretty straight forward.

Quick question: If an application is rejected (because of incomplete or some other reason), would this be the same timeline as when receiving the AOR (had it been accepted)? What I'm wondering is if the application is reviewed according to the approximate AOR timeline in the spreadsheets? Or if the application was not complete, it would have been returned much earlier...

I'm asking because my application arrived on Nov 26th so I'm next up. But I'm getting angsty and worried that if I don't hear soon, it's probably on my way back because I have to refile.
