Another frn of mine who applied on 1st nov got AOR today. It will be interesting to see AOR time line for people after 9th nov

I was very fortunate. But for those 9 months I felt the same as everyone else. Since I now have a lot more grey hair... My advice remains the same! :)

Hi all,
it is good to hear that nov. applicant getting cc charge for fees.
Have one question in how many days after receiving application date cic send application back for incomplete document?

CEC's webpage for no. of applications got updated and so far the results are as follows:

Total applications received towards the overall cap: 48 / 12,000

Yeh, looks like Nov 9th applicants have already received or should be receiving their AORs soon then.

Does this mean 48 applications from Nov 9 to Nov 15 (1st week) ?

But, According to the spreadsheet there are many guys who actually applied before Nov 09, 2013 & possibly their application reached CIO before NOV 08, 2013. So, they should receive their AOR by this time isn't it ??
Coz, I havn't received mine yet!
So now I am worried about the New Rules (got effective from Nov 09)...
As I think it may apply to everybody who didn't receive their AOR until today or may be Nov 09, 2013.

So the count down started :-X :-X :-X :-X

Yes, it looks like that the counter is applicable when CIO accepts the app and sends AOR.
So everyone who got AOR after Nov 9 is part of the counter, I guess, otherwise 48 app on Nov9 looks too high.

Are you saying that 48 applications are only from Nov 9th (one day) and not the whole week?

I thought the website was gonna update on weekly basis which means 48 for the whole first week.

anyone?

It should be since Nov-9th until the day the status was updated.

No, the number only includes complete applications. So Nov-9th to whatever date got the AOR last.

No one, whose applications reached after Nov 9th got the AOR yet. On website, last updated is 9th Nov.

In that case, Nov-9th applicants are close to getting the AOR. As the counter only reflected 'Complete' applications
received on or after Nov-9th.

As the new MI-10 states the following,

Effective November 9, 2013, a maximum of 12,000 new applications that are complete in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) will be considered for processing each year.

yeah....complete applications does not necessarily mean the ones with the AOR I guess...It may mean the apps that are complete for AOR...
