You will get in one or two week.

Iam also 25 Nov applicant. currently my application overall status is 'In process' with medicals received on June 25. How much time will it take for status change from 'in process' to 'decission made' and then to receive PPR..or will it be possible to receive PPR directly.

Hi All,

Is it possible to receive PPR directly before status changes to "Decision Made" or is it other way?

Has anyone's ECAS status changed from "In Process" to "Decision Made" in last one week or so ?

I guess all the "Decision Made" from June July got their PPRs last week.
All pending RPRF applicants got their RPRF request.

So this shows CIC is back on track for these processes.

The next logical move for "In Process -> Medical Received" is to either get a PPR or change in status to "Decision Made"

Helo Everyone,

Both Acts allow for a legal response time of 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of an official request. However, this period may be extended for limited and specific reasons identified in the Acts. For instance, extensions may be taken if:

the request is for a large number of records or necessitates a search through a large number of records and meeting the original time limit would unreasonably interfere with the operations of the government institution;
consultations are necessary to comply with the request that cannot be completed within the original time limit; or
additional time is necessary for translation purposes or for converting personal information into an alternative format.

above states that it can be longer than 30 days.

For me I applied on Aug 19th and inquired about the same below is the reply which I received:
Thank you for contacting the Access to Information and Privacy Office.

We acknowledge that your request is now overdue. According to our records, your request was due on September 19, 2014

Although we make efforts to provide timely access to records, the high volume of requests our institution processes makes it impossible to determine the exact date your file will be ready.

We apologize for any inconvenient this situation may cause. We have flagged your request as priority and the information will be forwarded to you as soon as possible.

I received my RPRF request on Friday and paid it yesterday. What is the next step? I keep seeing something about bio data?

You are Visa exempt I believe. Now it will be any additional information (if required) I assume you have had MR and done it? (if so) then you will be decision made soon. Then CoPR , Land.

Congrats! Have you sent your passport? We sent ours yesterday and hopefully,we'll get it asap. My WP will expire this coming November

Hi All...

Received a PPR request night at 10:21 PM..

Just have few clarifications:

1. I received 2 emails from CPC-CTD-Ottawa <CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca> for passport request with exactly same subject and content.
Is this normal?

2. I was waiting for PPR but my ecas status still shows as "in progress". Is this normal?
