Fellow applicants, what do you mean by "landing" I assume 90%of you are already in canada. What do we do aftet PPR?? Waiting for PR card? Or do we have to go outside canada atleast once??

Landing is the process of leaving the country and returning. While re-entering, you are asked few questions, asked to show some documents and get your COPR stamped.

Sent passport yesterday. Status changed to Decision Made today! Hope its a good sign!
You do understand that they only ask for passport for issuing PR. How can that be a bad sign ?

Technically if you don't leave the country within the time the issued visa expires, you will have to go through the PR process again. There is an alternative way that I had read somewhere in this forum. You can call up CBSF and ask for an appointment to get landing done within Canada. I am not entirely sure, but the appointment dates were months away.

I have to apply for PR under provincial nominee before last week of July, if this gets delayed any longer. My Ontario nomination certificate expires on 1st August.

My Ecas status changed to "Decision Made" and i had already sent out my passport. Hopefully there are no last minute surprises and hopefully they grant me the visa
