Guys,

I am so surprised now ! My GCMS note said eligibility failed (dated mid-Oct) ! and m ecas was changed to decision made before medical request on 22nd of Oct ! I thought it is a rejection ! I contacted ottawa that why I havent received any rejection letter or medical request before "decision made" !
I got an email in the morning from Ottawa that "decision made" means your file is under review !
Then after 2hours , I received RPRF and Bio data email ! and after 5 minutes my Medical Request email ! How is that possible !???
:o :o :o :o
I've no real idea, but either someone made a mistake and emailed you those request by accident, or some senior officer overruled the decission and let you pass.
I would try to get in touch of them before you do anything else, as the medical examinination is non-refundable.

Very unlikely that this is a mistake because I got 2 emails (not one) and all of the data on those 2 emails was correct ! and the emails was addressed to me !
I can see on my GCMS notes they the VO on 22nd of Oct had requested a rejection letter to be issued and sent ! but I never received it and also contacted Ottawa and said that I have not received anything from you !

A senior officer loves me :P !

Thanks so much for the reply. Question on the Biodata form - I'm going to a doctor with e-medical enabled. The form itself (IMM1017E) does not seem to have anything that needs me to fill out. All my personal information has been entered (hardcoded). All the blank boxes are for the physician signoff. I'm assuming that I just bring this to the doctor and he will take care of the rest?

IMM1017E is not bio data form.

This is the bio data form - dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/24404541/BIODATA_fillable.pdf, courtesy of Toby :)

This form is sent along with RPRF / PPR email.

Hmmm after reading some posts, it seems like there might be another biodata form which asks for name, height and eye colour information. Not sure if it's still the process now but will wait and see.

It will come with PPR!

I see. My RPRF email doesn't have biodata form though. Maybe it will come later.

yes, 4 of my friends are in the same situation like mine. Also, my employer just gave employment proof letter only and it has no duties and responsibilities in it.

is it possible for you to post the contents of that letter removing sensitive info? So that I can try to request the same. It will be very helpful for me. If not here, please send in a personal message.
I am now frustrated to get rejected after all this efforts :(
Thanks! I see a slight hope here.

Hello nov folks,

Any ppr / decision made in the last couple of weeks? I can see that bhanavig has got ppr. Anybody else ?

I just got my passport with my COPR....seriously thanks to this forum and all the contributors 8)
I have a concern regarding travelling before getting the PR card; I plan on doing my landing this weekend and I know the PR card takes about 5 weeks to get. Will I be able to travel by car afterwards (rental) and return back to canada without (before getting) PR card?
I'm from a country that requires Visa to visit canada.

Did my medical yesterday at Dr. Lyndon's clinic. The whole process took 1 hour so it was pretty fast. Will wait for the good news.
