I applied for my GCMS on 14 July and havent received the GCMS yet, I emailed them to follow up on this and they replied saying

Please be advised that file # xxxxxx concerning xxxxxxx was due on August 14th 2013. Due to the high volume of requests we were not able to process your request within the expected time frame. The information will be sent as soon as possible

Atleast they could provide GCMS on time

Amen to that brother!! Keep them on the applications. Its only been 7 months and the wait is killing me.

Hi can someone tell me how to do RCMP clearance. I would like to do it in private agency because i can get digital finger print.

Does the agency send the results directly to CIC or we have to collect it from them and email it to CIC. please advise

hi chadn congrats. You can ask them to send the certificate to your mailing address and you forward it to cpp Ottawa. 3 days processing time to a finger printing agency.

hi singh some applicants receive mr and RCMP request at the same time. Dunno why you haven't recvd mr yet. I have fsw application also they require me to submit RCMP crminal record check . Maybe they just want us to do that to expedite the process at our own expense. Within 3 days you can get a result from an agency $52 costs. Rather than wait for criminality check which Cic normally does but result is 22 weeks. It seems to be a trend now Cic requires RCMP fingerprinting.

Thanks. I have also received MR and RCMP on the same day. But I got RCMP request only for my wife. Did they do some mistake that they didnt ask it for me?
