Hello guys
I m so confused.
Need help. I have completed medicals. No updates yet it's been about a week.
My organisation wants me to travel to canada for long term but they need me in jan 2014. I m not sure by then if pr things come through.
Can I apply for work permit closed one from india? Would it impact my pr processing?
Will cic not object my wp procees? Please guide.

A week? I'm waiting for close to 2 months now after medicals but haven't got my passport request yet though ECAS status changed to decision made last week itself. So worst case, be prepared to wait longer.

My tracker is activated! Sent passports on Dec 3, 2013. That was pretty fast

It has been almost 2 months now for me since my medicals, in fact even my ecas status has changed as decision made last monday but still I haven't got passport request. My friends who applied after me and who got medical request after me have got their passport requests and some of them have even completed their landing. In couple of days it would be 13 months since I applied. I emailed cic last week, haven't got response yet. Oh God, this wait is worrying me.

Hi Nov 2013 applicants,

I just want to share my landing experience in Vancouver, BC. Passports are back today morning in the mail for myself and my husband. We went to the Peach Arch border this evening for landing. The process was super easy. The officer did not ask for anything special besides passports, COPR and mailing address for PR card. Thw whole process took 30 min or so.

I would like to thank everyone from this discussion Forum. I have learned a lot from you guys. Due to the strike, our Nov applicants had been through a lot of delays. I just wanna say that we are getting there no matter what. Good luck with everyone.

Does anyone know whether an administrative refusal to enter the US (during landing) will cause issues to US visas in the future?
