Briefly, One of the factors that might cause a delay in the process at the VO offices is the inquiries about the status of the application before the standard processing time has elapsed.

Good News Everyone,
The first Octoberian just got approved ;D Wooooohoooooooooo
She filed on 4th October.

wow that is a great news, how did that happened though? i mean yeah thats very great news but as od Dec. 2 they are processing Sept 23 still.. or am I just confuse. Hopefully it is really working that fast.. and i wish id be one lucky to get approved ;(

mistletoes I think CIC is being conservative and also the date is only being updated once a week so maybe they are really working faster, although they are still few September applicants who haven't received their approvals.

Absolutely, I just hate to see couples wait more than they supposed to. It is already a long process

well I hope CIC is working their ass off to get this couples reunited in their cold weather LOL. but for sure theyll get there summer already. smiles.

CIC has updated processing times and...we have DECREASED by THREE (3) days!!!! Current sponsor approval is now down to 63 days
