oh, I found the answer... Since June 2002, all new permanent residents automatically receive their first PR Card as part of the immigration process.

Does my wife need to have the Permanant Residence Card forms filled out before hand, or does immigration at the airport look after this for her? Thanks

I had an address problem as well, I contacted CIC, since it was my wife's address that had a mistake, I had to fill the Use Of A Representitive form, have her sign it, and then I sent it with a letter expaining the problem to CIC-M.

I have a few questions about ordering the GCMS notes. I live in Canada, can I chose"Privacy Act"? Am I requsting information on my own behalf? Not sure how to answer...is it on behalf of my wife? Location is my wife's Visa Office? Do I need to pay the fee? Thanks!!!

That is great, and no I wont be going to Beijing for my wife interview as I am working, and have two kids to look after. I hope my wife will be ok, we are preparing additionl proof to bring as well.
