it seems you cant go by the expected country date as to when you might recieve your Visa, as the one for Guatemala City states 17 months...

E-case is just sucks nothing more than that honestly because i realy cant understand why they acting like that but any way thank god finally may wife today got letter of sponsorship and it dated by jan 20 20.12 and funny thing that she got email around Jan 20 telling us they got our application in October 24 .2011 so the freak E-case just showing my name and saying application recieved in October 2011 so any body who didnt get aproved you from November applicant dont worry you will something soon but mine it take almost 86 days with this crazzzy lazzzzzy immigration

deepu3001, no the CAS only shows my name, that is all, but they only update every Tuesday...so maybe next week...

In happy news, my husband got home today and there was a letter from CIC approving him as a sponsor. So, YAY!!!! He's approved, we're approved!! And the application has been forwarded to Buffalo.


The odd part...we received the AOR via e-mail on January 20th...and according to our approval letter which came in snail mail it was also sent on January 20th. I am completely confused why they didn't use the e-mail to notify him as they did with the AOR, or why the sent the AOR and the approval letter on the same day.

So, for the last week I've been freaking out and this whole time we were approved and my file has already been transferred.
