I have submitted my application through a consultancy. I am a Software developer having 5 yrs experience. I did not understand...I did not know my NOC, so I went to the quebec immigration site and saw that 0213 is for Computer and Information systems . Please make it clear...I am worried now. I even went for a pre-assessment and got a positive reply. I have applied for quebec immigration.

So you're a Quebec Skilled Worker applicant? The 29 NOC list is for the Federal Skilled Worker. I'm not sure if QSW have their own NOC list (I guess they don't have). If you're a QSW applicant, you know French language?

I am learning french... ;D

Is your study of French language ongoing? But you already submitted your application as a QSW applicant, it means you have an Exam results in French (It's a requirement in your application).

Kindly confirm if you are a Quebec Skilled Worker. Thanks!

They dont send any acknoledgment e-mail.
CIO will send you PER/NER or returned application if cap has been reached in your noc.
If you have paid processing fee by credit card or Bank draft and you will get confirmation of encashment of payment then its mean PER.
Normally they give you response in 90-120 days
Thanks

Plz share ur application details like:
Noc
Application received date:
Mode of payment
Visa office
Encashment date
Plz do it so it can b added to the spreadsheet. Good luck n regards

I just answered it in my previous post here.

Usually it takes an average of 90 days after one's receive a PER or NER from CIC (the first notice you will receive after submission). But if lucky, it can be earlier.

It's called PER now Positive Eligibility Review. AOR will be received after the PER (once it reaches the local Visa Office).

Can you please post your NOC nad timeline? ;)
