Dear Seniors, my husband's passport expires in June and we intend to submit final PR application by next week as we have been issued an ITA. After submitting of all documents, can updates be done? This is so we can update with new passport when it is ready.

Thanks

hi, its been a awhile since I got back here...so just to update what's going on with me. I am living here in Saudi Arabia, I already got my ITA, and I am applying for my police clearance. Just for those in KSA, once you got nomination, its best to start with the PCC since it does take time. You have to go to your embassy (mine is the Philippine embassy) to get a referral, in which your details will be translated to arabic, then proceed to your local police station, then chamber of commerce for the translation. I am still in step 1, hopefully I finish it.
Second, I am currently doing my upfront medical, I live in the province, so my option was to go to Jeddah, to get the medical, only one clinic there, it The First Clinic, which accepts walk in for the first visit, second visit will be booked. They are open sunday-thursday from 1 to 8 pm. Just bring 4 pcs of ID picture, 3 copies of passport, and pay about 1000sr, then 450 sr during the physical exam. Medical include, blood works, urinalysis and chest x-ray.

I hope this helps....see you guys in Nova Scotia hope we all get there. I will give update once I actually get my PCC.

Great info. Appreciated!!!
Keep it up.

Wish you all the best.

regards
D

Congrats everyone who got their nomination and I guess Friday will bring more good news so Good Luck guys.
People who are waiting ADR and AOR please have a bit more patience and I would say there is no advantage if you keep calling them as its clear guidelines:

Officers at NSOI cannot divulge information over the phone about whether or not your application has been nominated, refused or its status. You must wait to receive written correspondence from the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration.

regards
D

Congratulations Shekhawat...

Hi, are you renewing your husband's passport as we speak? Renew his passport and submit your application, then update your new passport info once you have the new passport.

hope this helps

You can do one thing, if you have time you can apply for a new passport and submit your application after you have received new and valid passports. CIC gives 60 days time for submission of PR application after ITA. Another option you have to submit your application now with existing details and then update CIC about new passport after you have received them. There is an option available on CIC website through which you can update them about your application. Link is available in ITA letter.

Regards.

I think it has changed now to submit an application after ITA from 60 days to 90 days this year onwards..

Yes, if one has time he should go for passports first before applying for PR
