Anyone whose application received date is 14 or 15 January got nomination or email of additional document request?

My Application reached NSNP on Jan 15th (U can see that in SS). After getting AOR on March 30th, I did not heard anything about either additional documents / nomination. Mostly I am expecting email to day or sometime first half of next week.

Guys, If anyone of you has latest update please post.

As per SS your application reached date is 14th Jan. And no applicant of 14th Jan reported nomination or any additional request from NSOI. I am also in same boat. Be patient we all will get good news soon.

Hi, I received my AOR now, application received on 26th Jan.

Yes. He called me. I live in USA so the call is pretty cheap from Canada to USA. He asked me things about the name of the companies in the letter head and the names in the body of the letter. In this case names were different cause often there is a trade name and the real company name. He said that he will be keeping contact with me in case he finds another thing that makes him suspicious. Also he asked me to sent to him my NOC to his email. He was so kind and patient. Also he was speaking so slow in order to make the communication easier. Well, that`s it!

I'm surprised that they would call you instead of calling the person who wrote the reference letter. It's like asking someone to investigate and do a background check on himself. NSOI seems waaay more fair and patient than CIC.

Well, the companies I worked are in Brazil and they do not speak English. Hey may send them email asking questions. Can you imagine if he raised an intention refusal without calling me? The process would be more slower. Calling me doesnt mean he would not consult the companies in my opinion. But I feel they trying the best they could to make the process faster and safer.

Yea, you're right. I guess deeper verification of work experiences and background checks are done by local visa offices later down the road in the PR application.
