Hello rajanvnv

Please do not get confused. pk7 applied in Nova Scotia Experience: Express Entry , thats why he got AOR so fast. However I saw your entry in SS and I guess you did apply in Nova Scotia demand: Express Entry.
Both programs are different. Please update us you applied in which program.

drajpoot,

Appreciate you taking time to clarify the confusion. I applied in the demand EE.

Contact made by officer today. He went in details about my reference letters. He checked every letter on all of them. Make sure that all your letter is compiling with All the requirements from the guide. If not get a new version from your Employer.

Update the SS please

Hi cennabit, the officer contacted you directly and not your employers?

No it wont be considered as misrepresentation as your application under Nova Scotia is not in process.
Once you got the file number then you have to decide which province you have to proceed. If you applied under new brunswick and you got file number from Nova Scotia. then you should write email to new brunswick that you want to with draw or if you got file number from NewBrunswick before Nova Scotia you should inform Nova Scotia that you want to with draw.

Tell me drajpoot... When you send one of those provinces an email to withdraw, won't the other province find out that you actually applied to another province as well?? I'm a little unsure about this. I want to give NB also a chance but I don't want both provinces to find out and both reject me as a result!

Now I worry about it too. How a province find out if we applied for another one(even if we haven't received AOR)? What do you think? Please share your idea

1- To apply in any province, condition is your application is not under process with any other Province.
My question is do you consider your application is under process without getting AOR or file number? Just because your application received by their office how you will consider it is in process.
2- All province first do the completeness check and then they assign you file number and send you AOR and put your file in queue for assessment, at this stage if you have already got AOR from other province you can tell them to stop assessment and do not provide them your EE profile number. You can tell them honestly that at the time when you applied your application was not under process in any provinces thats why you applied but now as your application is in process with other province you do not want to hide this fact.

If just in case both provinces got to know, your chances would be high as the province you chose would consider your strong intention to settle in their province that is why you withdraw your application from another province.

Again I will say this is what I think.

Anyone whose application received date is 14 or 15 January got nomination or email of additional document request?
Please update.

Yes. He called me. I live in USA so the call is pretty cheap from Canada to USA. He asked me things about the name of the companies in the letter head and the names in the body of the letter. In this case names were different cause often there is a trade name and the real company name. He said that he will be keeping contact with me in case he finds another thing that makes him suspicious. Also he asked me to sent to him my NOC to his email. He was so kind and patient. Also he was speaking so slow in order to make the communication easier. Well, that`s it!

Hello Chitra

Its for all i.e. NSOI will nominate only 350 applicants through this stream

Hi drajpoot,

The cap for Nova Scotia Demand Express is 1,050 coz last year it was 700 and they increased it by 350. So its 1,050 in total.

See an example reference, http://thechronicleherald.ca/novascotia/1258471-province-hikes-immigration-cap-by-350-people-says-it-could-go-even-higher

Hello Snehan

This topic has been discussed a lot of times. Every province are allowed to have limited number of immigrants every years which is decided by the Federal Government of Canada. And for Nova Scotia it was 700 but this year it became 1050. in which 350 immigrants would be selected only through Nova Scotia Demand : Express Entry.

Please see the official link

I hope this will clear all your doubt.

Thanks
D.
