Hi Folks,

I got AOR on 24th April and now is waiting for nomination(spread sheet is updated). I got one query, please help.

In my application's settlement plan i have informed that my wife will not accompany me as she is in govt service and holding official passport (and CIC doesn't accept official passport) and also our baby is new born. But now we have found a way like she will quit the job and make a regular passport when CIC will ask for the passport. Also our baby is growing up and is ready enough to accompany me.

I am willing to send an email to Nova Scotia to inform that my settlement plan has changed and my wife and baby are now willing to accompany me (I have showed my wife as accompanying member in my Express Entry profile). Is that fine to send an email to let them know this ? Otherwise it might create a problem in future. What you say ??

You may inform this to NSOI, by sending them email. DO not forget to send all supporting documents in checklist which are required now as per your present situation.
Like Proof of funds as now you have to show them more funds, and other documents.
Make a list of documents which you need to send now to add your wife in your application then collect each documents scan it then mail it.

NOTE- It is highly recommended by me or also by NSOI/CIC that do not quit your present job till you did not get PR. And I do not think that your wife need to quit the job to
make a passport so I think first you need to get the passport of your wife and baby because you need to send photocopies of passport as it is required.

Thanks a lot for your valuable feedback.

I have already sent them my wife's passport photocopy with my application. But i didn't give my baby's passport number as it was not available that time. Thus i wrote them that its a new born baby thus i don't have his passport but will give it later when asked.

In my country, she cannot get a regular passport when she has an official passport already unless she quits the job. So i sent the official passport's copy with my application. Now in the email i will inform that when CIC will ask for our passport my wife will quit the job and will make regular passport.

btw, i already shown POF for 3 person. And NS haven't provided any query in their application that whether anybody of my family is accompanying or not. I just mentioned that in the settlement plan. So i guess no additional document is needed.

Please comment on my above situation.

NSOI refused their application by mentioning that officer is not convinced by their application that they have intention to settle in Nova scotia as their relatives lives in some other province.
