Fifty days? The program opened on January 1 this year...sanjeev31aug said:Hello Friends,
I just found that "NOVA SCOTIA DEMAND: EXPRESS ENTRY" is open and we can apply under this if we are eligible.
Well I am eligible also Under NOC 2173 category, Have few queries I hope someone here could help me with.
1) Am I too late to apply under this "NOVA SCOTIA DEMAND: EXPRESS ENTRY" program as its already been 50 days since this program was open.?
2) if I apply, Documents which need to be send as "copy of supporting documents", Will it be only copy or I have to attest all these supporting documents from authorized authority like Notary public?
3) Is it on first come first serve basis or they short list candidates with good score
Please help
Thanks,
Sanjeev

In SS, there is only two applicants of 21st Jan and three applicants of 22nd Jan who did not report AOR, that does not mean that last week NSOI did not issue AOR.lyndzkiel said:Hoping NSOI wil give more AOR's for this week...lastweek had no AOR..very slow ...losing my hope
No one can predict about total number of nominations as we do not know how many applicants applied in this program.hope 2015 said:Hi all,
Can we somehow estimate total number of issued nomination from NSOI till now? someone in this forum told that 4 last digits of certificate number present number of nomination and for applicant in 12 Jan this number is 50, if it is right and almost 50 nominations were issued till 12 Jan consequently our spreadsheet contains 30% of total applicants because nomination number of applicant in SS row 17 is 50. Dear Drajpoot,Do you have additional information about total number of applicants to help us to make a prediction?

As someone reported the last 4-digit of certificate number is nomination number, even if it is right we can not say this number represent nomination number issued for this program only or it represent the nomination number against the Total nomination issued by NSOI this year including all program.
Of course , you have to stay in their province that is why all provinces open their own programs so that people come to their province not to go in other province.sanjeev31aug said:Dear drajpoot,
I have consulted with one of the immigration consultants and they said if you apply through NS PNP program and get selected, you have to live and work only in their Province for at least 2 years, is it true ?
or we can live and work anywhere in Canada after getting PR
kindly advice

For example- if you are investing money over someone paying tickets and doing all arrangements so that the person will come and work at your home, And person came to canada and say good bye to you.. Will you accept? ? ? ????

I thought we only have to land on their Province and after few months we can move anywhere, What you think Should I wait for EE Draw or should I go with any PNP program? My EE score is 357, and as per same consultant, Canadian government have target to give around 2 lac PR's through Express Entry and with each Draw required CRS score will likely to go down, but for that I have to wait for long, may be 1 more year.
I am not sure about opturinity in Nova scotia for my profession (Telecom domain, Software Engineer (2173) and can also go with "Database Administrator" 2172 occupation)
Please advice what should I do.

It might be possible that people who got AOR last week are not in SS. So Do not lose hope,Be positive...

I think just one January 21 applicant received AOR last week. I am one of the 22nd January applicant but no news yet, still waiting.

Dont forget that people from around the world applied in NSNP but all of them are not in SS, whatsapp, chinese group.
Well all I want is to Live and work in Canada and that could be any Province, If I get job related to my occupation in NS, why would I leave it. what I meant to say that I never knew that province Nomination work like this and I had never searched for opturinity in NS related to my work.drajpoot said:Hello Sanjeev
I will advice you not to apply in this program as it looks like you have intention to stay and work in some other province because you already made up your mind that you will not get opportunity in Nova Scotia.
I hope you will not mind, but I advised you not to apply because just in case if you get PR through this PNP program for sure you will move another province after two years or may be before.
Do you know people who are doing these things they do not have idea what they are doing. They are creating problem for future applicants who really wish to move Canada and live in their province. When people approach in same way as you think, immigration officers start doubting on each applicant that this applicant may also do the same thing and in such scenario it become very hard for the applicant to prove or convince the officer that he or she has no intention to move in other province.
Please see the SS, we have three applicant who really wish to move and live in Nova Scotia but they got refused just because their relatives live in other province, they tried their level best to prove them but immigration officer already made up their mind that those applicant will move in another province. Why immigration officer are so strict just because some people do this they just apply in any PNP program and then move somewhere else where they wanted to go.
So please if you have any intention to move or settle somewhere else other than NOVA SCOTIA. I suggest you not to apply in any PNP where you dont want to live.
Wait for the EE draw.
Apart from that all provinces help immigrants to find better jobs in their provinces and Nova Scotia is also do the same. It depends how much interested you are to find and settle in their province.
