Congratulation! Hi, you received your ITA from 6th draw ? or is there new draw (7th)?

I don't think cap is reached. If you check the last year data, that NSOI select 150 applicants over 8 months of period. This year they are selecting 350 applicant. I expect they will continue their selection process another 4 months.

It does not matter how many months NSOI took to select 150 applicant, the matter is till which date of application was under cap.
According to last year data application which are under cap is in between - 06/03/2014 to 17/03/2014

Applicants whose application received date was after 17th march 2014 got their application back.

Hi. Thank for the reply.
I get the hang of how ot works now.

I understand my FSW points became 66 and I will be out of EE FSW pool on April 19 (which is my birthday). However, NSOI nominates me around the middle of May(thesedays it takes about 1 and a half month after AOR).

I know it is best to stay in the pool, but it is impossible to get a higher IELTS score before my birthday.

Will there be no problem if I get a higher IELTS result after my birthday and go back into the EE FSW pool by updating the EE profile before NSOI nominates me?
Or is there a valid period for the nomination, so is it OK for me to go back to the EE FSW pool before the nomination and EE peofile expires?

I am planning to take more IELTS exams and try to get a higher score before they nominate me. Anyway, you never know I can make it before then. So, I want to know what options I have.

Hi,
Unfortunately, the basic question is that you have to pass 67 points to be eligible to be in EE pool. That is to say, 66 points will be kicked out of the pool.
Anyway, NS would still nominate you as you are still in the pool when they send you the AOR. But all the rest steps happen in EE pool, so it will be impossible to carry on your case if you are not in it.
The best way for you to stay in the pool is to raise your points, such as having your spouse take IELTS.
Good luck to you with this issue.

Hi Guys,
Got my ITA yesterday, and there are some points in the ITA letters that I want to share with you, which may clear the problems that some of us may have.

Changes to your personal situation
If your situation (or that of your spouse or partner) changes, you should try to re-calculate your points score
before you decide to apply for permanent residence. To find out how to re-calculate your score, see:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/express/express-entry.asp

If your new score is lower than the minimum points score in the draw from which you were invited to apply, you
should consider declining this invitation to apply. You should also consider declining this invitation to apply if
you no longer meet the minimum criteria for Express Entry.
WARNING: If you decide to apply in the above cases, your application may be refused and your application fee
will not be returned.
Some examples of changes which could result in a lower points score include:
• You no longer have a valid job offer
• You no longer have a provincial nomination
• Your language test scores have expired or upon re-taking them, the scores are lower.
Note: If you had a birthday since we sent you this invitation, and the change to your age decreases your points
total, this will not cause us to refuse your application for permanent residence.

Hi,
You can refer to my last thread, which may solve your problem:
If you are not in the pool when they give you the ITA, you will not be able to accept the ITA.

Hi,
If you check the red lines of my last thread, you may find that it indicates that you have to be in the pool when they send you the ITA.
It does not matter if you are in the pool or not before the ITA, but you have to be able to stay in the pool when they issue you the ITA, so that you can accept it.
And it does not matter if you have your birthday after the ITA, which have been indicated by the red lines, because you have already accepted their ITA at that time.
Hope my answers solve your problem.

Hello Everyone,

I'm new here and I applied for NSNP under skilled category (NOC Level C) on 24th March 2015. Can anyone let me know, for how long I have to wait for File number and how does NSOI will contact me? (Via email or postal mail)
