Personal experience and follow up for Nova Scotia 2014 RLMD Stream. My file was received on Macrh 28 last year. Altough the program started on Macrh 7, I received an email in January 2015 that my application is being returned due to cap which was only 150. Unfortunately, still I did not receive my documents.
I knew from forum that the last one who got nomination was March 20. So, they have finished in less than 2 weeks.
By the way, there is a forum on Candavisa for the same where you can have an idea about that.
This year cap is 350. Tougher point system than last year which will decrease the number of applications of course but still nobody knows.

I think @ABCD EFGH is right, the cap this year FOR Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry is 350, which is the stream we all applied for.
There are 3 streams under NSNP: Skilled Worker/ Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry/ Family Business Worker.
I believe the total cap is 1050. But there are only 350 under Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry.

As a matter of fact, this sentence here has stated the cap: "The stream comes with 350 new immigration nominations, bringing the total in 2015 to 1,050, up from 700 in 2014."

Guys whatever the cap is, we are waiting for positive news. They have not clearly mentioned first come first served but they have mentioned that they could reject any file even if it satisfied the criteria and made it into the cap.

NSNP did the same thing last year. For 150 application space they continued taking more than 3000 application and later they returned those application without even opened the envelope. Now, this year they are doing the same. How can they be so irresponsible ??? ??? ???

Last year they closed the reception of documents in 3 weeks. Why are they still take?

It was not 20th march , in RLMD stream 2014, NSOI returned the application reached on or after 18th march , as my application reached there on 18th march and i did not get any news. While an applicant whose application reached on 17th march reported the forum that he got AOR.

My application reached on 17 March 2014 at 4 PM NSOI time last year. Still I failed to fall with in the cap.

You are right, only some people of 17th march 2014 reported that they got AOR. Well you are lucky this year. You will get good news soon

I am also hoping that. but It entirely depends on program officer. Till now i have not received positive impression from him regarding nomination, even, he did not give reply acknowledgement for any query or additional requested documents submission but gave deadline for it. So, how can i sure that he got every things based on his expectation?.
