Hello All
People who thinks that they would need more time or not sure to get some documents such as PCC, reference letter or medical etc, and who thinks that they will start everything once they will get nomination SO They need to organize their steps so that they can get enough time to submit application on time.
DO NOT RUSH OR ACCEPT ANYTHING TOO QUICK AS YOU NEED MORE TIME TO ARRANGE YOUR DOCUMENTS
Please see the below example and act accordingly:
1st of January2017, you get message in your MYCIC to accept nomination, it will give you 30 days time to accept it
Do not accept nomination and Apply for PCC on same day
On 28th January(1 or 2 days before deadline) accept your Nomination, normally each Express Entry draw will take place after 15 days so always try to accept your nomination just after the EEdraw date so that you can get more 15 days to get ITA
Let say last draw was done on 27th January and you accept your nomination on 28th january so you will get ITA on aprox
13th February, DO not accept the invitation as you will get 30 days time to accept it.
11th March(2 days before deadline) accept your invitation and now you will get 90 days time to submit your PR application which would be 10 June 2017
So Calculation for PCC time - you applied on 1st january 2017 and you have time till 10th June2017= 5 months
You always be safe side and you get 5 months time to get your PCC even when you start process on same day when you get nomination.
Even if anyone still thinks that any of your document will take more than 5 months I would suggest start your process to get it before nomination.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now lets have a look what people normally do and get tensed
1st January get nomination , get excited and Accept it
Lets say EE draw took place after 2 days on 3rd January
3rd January get ITA and again excitement WOW great so fast and Accept that
And now CIC says you have 90 days to submit your PR application which is 2nd April
1st January- 2nd April= 3 months
So now choice is yours which way you want to manage your time
regards
D
