NOVA SCOTIA Provincial Nominee Program January 2015

Hi! I'm just new to this forum. I applied for the NSPN Program last October 2015. I heard that they closed the nomination that time.
We just waited until we have forgotten already that we applied and just November last year, we were contacted by Nova Scotia Nomination Office.
With God's grace, we were able to submit all the required documents by the nomination officer. We just received the nomination this January 6, 2017.
We are praying for the steady progress of our application and hopefully receive the ITA after a week or two.

I would just like to ask, how long usually it takes to receive the ITA?

It is likely that u receive ITA in the next EE draw. Usually it takes place every 3 - 4 weeks, have a look at when the last draw happened and expect the ITA. Start preparing your documents, dont wait for the Ita to arrive, start the process for pcc and work reference letters if u dont have them, take appointment for medical and have all documents which r not in English or french to be translated.

Applicants who are getting emails that there file has been closed because they dint respond timely, But actually you replied within time limits: I would recommend please write immediately to your nominee officer by attaching evidences that you replied within time frame. AND also send the same email attaching all evidences to your officer by another email address(Do not forget to mention your application details and email address in this email)

Sometimes it happens that once nominee officer close your file system do not accept any further emails from that email address which you mention in your application and another thing also it might be possible when you replied to them within time frame your mail dint reach in the system so please try email your case officer with different email by attaching all evidences.

Applicants whose case is on hold to check authenticity of documents or anything like that, its time to give them a polite reminder, as they are almost at the end, Please be polite and not to write anything which may feel officer that you want them work fast or something like that.

November and December applicants / silent members Its time to be active on the forum as you guys really need to be updated to react timely, so that no one miss their chance So please update your details and keep an eye who is getting AOR and NSOI is processing which date of application.

My application reached too on 13th Nov 2015. I see you have the same date as well. Which date did you receive the AOR. I am looking to contact them. Do you know which email and phone number do I need to contact them at? Which details should I have in hand when we contact them? Do you know the office timings? What time is best to call?

Got my AOR last Dec 22,2016. I used the one on their website, you can email or call them if you like, mention your name and the date your file was received in NS. Office hours would have to run from 8 to 5, i think. I went there last year and most offices either close at 5pm or 4 pm, just don't call during break times. Hoping you get yours soon.

Thank God you called them Adebby....they seem to have messed up all emails due to the holidays. I'm so glad that you have received their positive response.

I called them too regarding closing my file but none of the officers pick upi and it only goes to voice mail. I tried explaining the situation to the receptionist who followed up on my query and told me that they will reassess and reply to me. I'm still very tense though. Haven't received any response yet though even though I have sent them an email with screenshots showing date responded etc...and their generic reply to me on the same date.

Congrats Adebby!!

I hope everyone read your message and realize that why We always wants everyone to enter and update your details in spreadsheet even if you do not want to post anything, your details may help many people to take action on time.
So please all silent members who dint enter their details please do it as you can imagine if no one put any details how Adebby noticed that people after him getting AOR

I wish to have all applicant of this program be a part of our spreadsheet so that you all will have more close idea about the expected dates when you can hear anything from NSOI.

Yesterday I found out the India Post tracking number and found out that my file was sent on 13th Nov and reached on 3rd Dec 2015. So sorry for misleading. I didnt call them.
