I am new to this forum. I received AOR today. My timeline is as follows:

Application received : 26 May 2015
Pre-AOR : 12 January 2016
AOR & additional document request (POF & NOC) : 20 January 2016

Why ritawallu? My noc is 6235 but i sent my application last august and no news until now.

Good to find you here. So you will get pre aor by april. And i can get an analysis from your case what are the requirements further. By the way how much is your crs score?

Not sure whether NS is giving away nominations from 2015 quota or they are starting with a fresh series in 2016.

My nomination is in 2 digit. It is between 15 to 25.

Hello people, I have been reading about the new requirements for settlement funds. Here is my situation, I received nomination from Nova Scotia on October 27. When they asked about settlement funds I transferred the my savings in CAD to my account with Royal Bank of Canada which was in zero since I opened it back in 2014. I did this because that was what a friend of mine did when she applied under the old Federal Skilled Worker Program and it worked for her. From Cuba I cannot send or extract money to an account in Canada or so they told me at the embassy, so I gave the funds to a close friend and she did the transaction from Spain. Will this be a problem?

I received nomination from Nova Scotia on October 27, then ITA on October 29, after that I was requested to sendd S4 and S4A form on November 19. Since then I haven't seen any change to my application or received any notification. Any comments?

It seems the quota is already from 2016. In fact, the year should be part of your number.

Do not worry. I do not think, it will be problem. Is your Medicals passed?

Thanks, my Medicals hasn't changed at all, I took them on November 8, don't know how long will take to change.

Yes. It is.

Then it seems they are keeping a steady pace of around 50 nominations each month. As there seems to be around 250-300 applicants remaining, it looks like they are aiming to complete the processing around June indeed. But that would make around 600 nominations until December, far below than the quota they want from CIC. I wouldn't discard a little increment in their speed in the coming months.

As long as your application is ok, there is much more than hope. It is guaranteed they will process your application. I believe you can expect an AOR between May and June.
