Right now there must be about 350 nominations remaining. But it's hard to estimate, as we only know that, so far, they have nominated about 250 people through the NS Demand stream, and we only know that there are significantly less applicants on the NS Experience stream, but not how many.

They have told me in a recent e-mail that there are more applicants than nominations available for this year, but the ones who are not processed in the current quota will be processed in the next year.

Out of a gut sense, I believe that we can expect about 300 nominations through the "Demand" stream, and they should be fulfilled by the applicants who sent their packages until June or maybe July. But it's only a guess.
Hey Skywalker_Rt , hope you are doing good. I am happy to read your post as it is hopeful as i have sent my application in september first month.
Though I am little worried when with the fact that Express entry profile expires after an year and when nsnp checks the EE profile and it doesn't find , not sure how they are going to handle this situation. If you have any information on this , please can you share. Thanking you in anticipation.

Hey Guys,
A quick query to the seniors

1.In regards to the POF, is it mandatory to show amount in PA's account or I can show some in mine and some in spouse, as spouse is accompanying me.

2. Residence Permit : Currently, I am in Saudi Arabia ànd have the residence permit . Do I need to add this in my travel doc section? If yes, do I need to declare while submitting details of the profile under Travel details -> National identity in addition to passport?

Seniors please suggest as I am about to submit my application.

Thanks for all your help.
1. Yes, It is acceptable to show both of you. If possible keep in the Joint account (You and Your spouse). However, i strongly advise to choose an option for Fixed deposit, If you want convert them as a Deposit. No problem with either Bank statement or Deposit.

I suggest to prepare a brief cover letter to confirm that the funds are available under your account and spouse by referencing them in the letter. Upload all these document as one doc in POF folder while submitting PR application.

2. You must include your Saudi Residence Permit under Travel Docs and also select option while filling online travel history if you are currently lived in Saudi as Ongoing Travel.

While more experienced applicants may clarify it better, I believe you can send this information later, by e-mail. Try asking NSOI about that.

hi friends
my name in SS is M.
i am preparing my doc for PR.
i want to do the medical exam to be ready when i get invitation for PR.
which form should i submit to the doctor,
i could not find the last version of medical form.
i want people who have submitted their PR application to help me.
please give me the link to the form
thanks alot
Step: 1 - Refer below link to find doctor(Physician) in your country:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx

Step: 2 - Choose Medical type - Upfront and tell them this is for Express Entry. You are required to carry Original Passport while visiting the Physician for medical examination

After completion, Clinic will provide Upfront medical sheet. This medical will send by them directly to CIC using E medicals(Online).

You need to upload medical sheets in Medicals folder While submitting PR application.

Hello everybody.

I am interested in this programme and I am wondering are still any quota left now? Because this programme is open in Jan 2015 and now it is Oct. I am afraid that if I submitted my application but there is no quota left, my effort will be in vain.

Can anyone please give me an advice?

Thank you very much.

Sidhu , when did u call them ? As far as i know they have not told anything about the number of applications they have received and when would they stop receiving . Also no info about the cap. So as u said u have sent it recently , still be hopeful. Moreover , one of the guys in the same thread posted that "Nova scotia immigration is going to process the applications next year if the cap of this year gets filled. ". So just wait like me :)

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
From Page 27 of the Nova Scotia application guide,

In order to meet the minimum requirements, the applicant’s skilled work experience must have occurred within the 10 years preceding the date of their application.
 Letters of reference from all employers for the past 10 years
Letters must:
 be written on company letterhead
 be signed by the responsible officer/supervisor
 show company’s full address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail and website addresses
 be stamped with the company’s official seal (if applicable)
Letters must include all of the following information:
 the specific period of your employment with the company
 the positions you have held during the period of employment and time spent in each position
 your main responsibilities and duties in each position
 your annual salary plus benefits in each position, and

the number of hours worked per week in each position
 Documentation to show experience match with NOC 2011
In your application to NSOI you will need to demonstrate that you:
 performed the actions described in the lead statements for the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC 2011, and
 performed a substantial number of the main duties, including all of the essential duties, of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of NOC 2011
To help you with your search, go to the following website and insert the NOC code under quick search: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/Welcome.aspx
Note: The applicant does not need to demonstrate that they meet the “Employment Requirements” listed in the NOC occupational description.
If you do not show that your experience meets the description in the NOC 2011, we will refuse your application.
Additional supporting documents may include:
 copies of work contracts, and
 copies of pay stubs
Now, how many pay stubs do I attach, if I worked for more than 96 months in the same company? One per year? Or do I ignore pay-stubs if the reference letter mentioned above already displays the annual salary for each of these 8 years?

I also have tax returns for each of these years. I know those are not asked for, but would sending them, instead of pay-stubs help?

I don't want to send more documentation than what is required, it is unnecessary work for both applicant and the officer.

Dear colleagues,

I need your help/ advice/ opinion about my case.
I received NS nomination on 28 June, ITA on 10 Jul, Submitted my application on 30 Jul then received 4 correspondence from CIC on my account requesting extra forms or documents. On the last correspondence (on 19 August), they asked for Additional Family Info IMM5406 form. In addition, the following text was written :
"This refers to your application for Permanent Residence in Canada. Your file has been transferred to the
Case Processing Centre – Ottawa for further review."

I sent them the required form the day after (20 August) and since then I had no response from them. Furthermore, the background check field changed from "Not started" to "Not needed at this time". I don't know why and what does that mean.

I can see from the spreadsheet that some colleagues who submitted their applications after me have already got passport requests or got their visas. I began to worry. Shouldn't I?

Does anyone have a similar situation? Is it familiar that applications are sent to CPC Ottawa? Is my application taking too much time?

Please anybody help if you can. I am so worried and stressed.

Thanks in advance to all of you.
Hi Mostafa,

As per the CIC and I'm quoting "Citizenship and Immigration Canada will process most complete applications in six months or less." ... and here's the link of the video that says so > http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/multimedia/video/express-entry/potential-candidates/potential-candidates.asp

As you mentioned, on the speadsheet most of the colleagues have already got their passports, but that doesn't mean it's a general rule ... And actually (as far as I know) now it is taking way less time than it used to do before ! ...

Patience is a virtue :) ...

They have already sent you you ITA so the processing time might varies and hopefully you'll get some good news sooner than you expect :)

Regards,
D

How long have you maintained the account with sufficient funds? Is it currenly at the required amount for proof of funds? Well, you have to explain the discrepancy and give them your latest statement and bank cert.

Thoughts from our seniors?

bimbychic,

Please let us know your name in excel?. under pof you should not have a deposit done of late it is good to maintain funds from longer duration.

They generally ask for last 6 months statement and if any fund got transferred a month or days ago and that was not chronic in last six month than they suspect the same as a issue.
