Hi I have received my medical and PCC request; they also require me to send IELTS and settlement plan. My profession is NOC Code: 2173 (A); OCCUPATION: Software Engineers and Designers.
As per the requirement mentioned, there is no requirement of IELTS for A professions and also on my nomination Letter its mention that “Language Test Required: No”. I have been given 30 days to submit all the documents and it is not possible to provide the IELTS result in 30 days, is there a way to get exemption of IELTS? Can i use the same settlement plan as submitted to NS or do i have to make a new one
Date received at CIC: 17th Nov 2014
AOR: 15 May 2015
MR, PCC and other documents: 12 June 2015
It's better if you can, take ielts exam within next few days. As you know they need a very minimum score in ielts ( probably 5 in L.W.S and 4.5 in reading )which you would be able to get easily. The result would be published in 14 days. Try hard to arrange it within the given timeline and in case of not being able to get the ielts score in given time i'd suggest you to raise a CSE explaining your concern and request for additional few days time. Any ielts exemption request could result declining your application. And about settlement plan write a own settlement plan in no more than two pages including why you chosed the province and how would you accododate, settle and can contribute the local economy.
This is how you would avoid delay in processing your application.
Best of luck.
P.S-Sometime they ask for additional settlement plan when they find the applicant is a bit elder enough or has many dependent who might not fit to contribute the local economy.
