It depends on your VO. If you VO is CPP - Ottawa it could be two weeks or less

I was just going through FSWP forum. There a query regarding a question in background declaration form. And I found that I also did a mistake in mentioning some information in IMM5669 ( background declaration ). I mentioned NO for all the answers.

Question no 6 (d)
Should I select 'yes' option as I applied for SINP and got refused due to CAP reached.

Question no 6(e)
Should I select 'yes' option as I applied for US student visa and got refused ?

Please help.

Yes , got AOR on 22nd dec.
And abt question 6(d) , I think I selected correct option (NO) as my application is not refused but not accepted due to cap.
Am I right?

Only thinking abt question 6(e) now.

I am also facing the same problem but after getting the AOR I wrote a letter to CIO Nova Scotia, explaining the situation / mistake and actual facts. CIO replied me in around 30 days with comments that my application is no more with CIO, transferred to Visa Office and I should write to my visa office directly for any information update. Then I wrote the same information / letter to my visa office but almost 2 months passed & i did not listen any update/ response.

Note: USA and Canada has a sharing system for immigration cases. In my personal view, its batter to inform your visa office instead of leading to misrepresentation, which is a serious offense.
