Received reply for my gcms request.. Seems the application is still at criminality check as my mother's biometrics fingerprints are of poor quality due to age.. the gcms report also states it is waiting for officers review since 3rd March... Nothing can be done about the finger prints as it's natural and age related.. Seems there is no progress beyond waiting for the officers decision

When did you apply? In how many days did you get the reply?
Do you know which one is better to see some result - Webform enquiry / gcms notes?
I followed the YouTube videos while filling in the info. You can apply thru : https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do
The normal time period for gcms notes is 30 days.. I received mine in around 35 days.. Webform enquiry - you may or may not get response.. With gcms response is guaranteed but you may need to wait atleast 15 to 30+ days
Only caveat is gcms is just a detailed report of what happened on your application..it won't influence/ speed up the decision process. It just helps get more info on what exactly is happening with your application as the ircc page hardly gives any updates any decision is made

Background checks shouldn't take so long to be approved especially for kids and senior citizens.. Guess no other option but to wait or reapply
Was just about to hit the 106 days tomorrow and now I see processing timeline increased to 112 days ... Except November and some of December applications, this timeline doesn't seem applicable to anyone else.. So bugged..
I already hit 106 days 3 days ago. However, I don't see the update to 112. Where did you see?
