even though, processing time shows 26 days, after application number and UCI # received, it took 11 days for us to get passport request. As long as all the documents and forms are submit completely, you will see the result in 1 to 2 weeks. Good luck.

My sisters Visawas issued at Ottawa, even thought she applied from India ( online ).

How do you know it was issued from Ottawa, where did she send the passport?
On the top left corner of the visa it's says issued at.. Mine is New Delhi and her visa says Ottawa.
We submitted our passport at a VFS and it will be sent to the nearest consulate for stamping.
Applied on 21st July
Received Application no on 23rd July
Passport request on 4th August.
Once submitted received passport back in 5 working days.
I applied for my parents on 9th August
Received application no 13th August
Update of UCI on 14th August
Did not receive any update message but when i yesterday logged in application was showing as updated.
They started reviewing eligibility. Possibly that was the update.

It's update for me too yesterday so i dont know when i will receive the update who said they need my passport
