The week is almost over with no updates for many of us.. This is getting too disheartening.. Every week they keep adding to their timelines.. Webforms do not get any replies..even if they do they are generic ones..

right…saw ppr only in march applications, as someone said earlier looks like they have really set aside everything for ukraine applications

Yes. Only march applicants are posting PPR. That too some are for tourism. How come tourism gets approved in a week/two in new IRCC portal.
May be Nov21 applicants are not updating us in the forum after receiving PPR / Noone has received any.
Before Afghan, now Ukraine, later someother country, IRCC will keep priotizing these countries. Its good they are prioritising these countries, but not at the cost of increasing processing time of normal applicants. Everyone got their own situation and urgency.
May be IRCC should hire more and more resources, automate some steps using their analytical tool, work on all the weekends with 24/7 shifts till the backlogs are cleared, plan effectively to clear all the backlogs including Ukraine files.
One more week gone now.

My parents have received their passport back from stamping. I was expecting the place of issue would be Bangalore, but it is Ottawa. Seems like a lot of applications getting processed in Ottawa

you r right,maybe that is why ukraine issue is impacting our applications…if it was from individual embassy offices then they would have delt with only applicants from that country! now its all mixed up

Same here... Application processing is in delhi.. How are March applications getting processed quickly... If they have time shouldn't they process older applications first... There is no logic to their processing workload.

My mother submitted her Canada visitor visa application through new IRCC Portal on 26-Nov-2021 and gave her biometrics on 22-Dec-2021. After that, there has been NO update whatsoever. It's going to be 4 months now. Submitted the webform too but didn't get any proper reply.

The concern is that even the very first step ("We have started reviewing your eligibility" status) has not yet started.

Any inputs/comments would be appreciated.

almost all november applicants are going through the same…i’ve also applied for my parents on 28th n biometric on 9th, nothing so far!

If you just go through the previous messages you will get your answer. Most of the Nov21 applicants here are still waiting. Looks like they are busy processing Ukraine applications and March2022 applications.
