I am PR, we already applied for spousal sponsorship in April. And also applied for visitor in last November. Since than we are just waiting, it’s been 8 months. Just wondering is there chance of getting any decision.. just seen few PPR here last week

VV is all very random. No timelines at all and this is ruining lives of people. Visas were supposed to be time sensitive but it is all a joke now

Don’t know what to expect from IRCC, lost all hopes with them, what bothers more is some people are getting visa in 2-3 weeks and other are waiting for months and months.. they are just pushing people in depression..

Yea things are just getting worst and worst, people are in depression but IRCC won’t care

on one side people are growing restless in a month after applying and other side some people are made to wait over 1 year..

some people by sheer luck get a visa in 5 days.. it is disgusting

if number of applicants from a country is more why don’t ircc distribute it among other offices so that every applicant gets decision in fair time things are computerised amd everything is online n accessible from anywhere around the world, there is no justification in blaming covid or afghan issues or ukraine issues anymore

from what i have read, applications are assigned to the VAC of the same country as the applicants as the officers are familiar with the documentations required.
but I totally agree some hear back within weeks and some are simply stuck with no update whatsoever. it has been 92 days for our application and nothing.

Well you are still within time frame, I have been waiting for 8 months and still there is no update yet

it doesn't matter how much time it took if they are not satisfied u will get rejected.

people are getting ppr earlier this year for application submitted in early 2020. it all comes down to the documents in your application when IRCC issue visa. the long wait ... who knows why? someone gets visa just in 7 days last month.

previously they got VV rejected once. Finally my game over after 4 years …
