Not sending passport and wedding photographs

The only one who can give answer to your querries is the CIO.

My guess is if you have very very genuine reasons of not sending passports and photographs, inform them of the same.
Though I feel you should not take chances and alteast send your spouse's passport, maybe they can waive the photographs, but your spouse's passport is an important document, as important as your ielts, certificates, etc he/she will accompany you to Canada sooner or later.
So do not take chances with passports.

I am not sure of wedding Pictures. We were never asked to submit any wedding photo's. However, passport copy is a different thing. If she is mentioned in your application, it is my personal and not a professional opinion, that you will either have to submit the passport copies or explain why you will not/cannot submit it. It will most likely result in you declaring that she will never be able to join you and you can never sponsor her. I also do know that while we were never requested for wedding pictures, my brother was and he submitted them.

Yesterday a live in caregiver said she's pregnant and doesn't know what to do as her job will be in jeopardy which will put the visa in jeopardy.

So i guess you can share your problem without any issues.

Regarding the second problem, my wife is actually my fiancée, we have just signed wedlock in between. my father in law do not agree on pics before marriage, as we have a reserve society and constraints. that is why he denied.

Mustafa, as stated by Naija You apply yourself first then sponser your wife once you land in Canada. Do not lie or hide anything. CIC/CHC can sometimes forgive mistakes but when you lie or hide something your are gone.

I have seen that copy of passport is not an issue if explained Properly. You can say that you have applied for and can present the same at CHC or when ever required after one month from now. This used to work before 26/6/10 rule changes

You need to present some sort of proof like marraige certificate or common law relationship proof to include your wife in your application. W/o this your application will be returned as incomplete

Can't you get your fiancee's passport made immediately. I don't know which country you are from, but in India we have a system from which we can get passport in a week. My boyfriend who is in Canada had to get one as the embassy rejected his earlier passport.

I am from Pakistan, it will take minimum 20 days, as initially i have to sort out the issue of ID Card of my fiancée then the passport. i have a Nikha nama, that is an official document signed to prove that she is my wife. I have made calculation by the time my fiancee passport will be ready about 100 out of 1000 will be remaining. would it be enough, as i guess there will be application in queue to fill up for the last 100 before my one is filed.

As life is already miserable, why we spend energies negatively to worsen it.
There are so many people around and no one knows no one and one thing common in most of them (apart from some stupids), that if they know a solution they shall explain and that will be based on the INFO PROVIDED BY YOU?

Your matter seems pretty straight forward

1) Being from your part of the world its very easy to understand that you guys have been tied in a wedlock without RUKHSTI? This shall be done at a later stage.
If this is the case then AS SAID BY YOU, you have a NIKAH NAMA. Pretty straight forward get it translated by a translator, get it attested by the Notary and first class megistrate and the Nikah Khawan or Union council

Coming to your second problem

I think your Father in law is a reasonable and sensible person (as he has raised a girl to give it to you). If explained properly, with nothing hidden i dont think he shall have any prob with this. By the way if even he does not agree then you shall fotos of your own WHY YOU NEED TO LET HIM KNOW?

Third thing

You can get an ID CARD done in one day with special fees paid (i think everyone here in Pakistan knows this). Same is true for the Passport it can be obtained in 3 days on urgent basis.

Fourth Thing and most IMPORTANT

Despite spending so many days in just asking (and that too without letting anybody know the real situation, and keep on guessing now it is 800, next week it shall be 900 and so on so F*** it and send the application as it is), is a real wastage of time and talent.

Be sure first of all at the CHC the application is checked for wholeness. if found complete then they issue you the second AOR otherwise application returned and as pointed out rightly by someone that check the document checklist. If you dont tick your supposes pp copy and nikah nama wont you be getting the whole package back.

So save your self some time and start acting now rather than blowing the entire (RETURNED PACKAGE) in your Father in laws head later on. JUST KIDDING dont vbe serious

Today, i submitted an application for my wife ID Card, that is on urgent basis, still it will take a week and three and four days for passport. After having got this, i will file my application,

the second issue(wedding pics), as it is Embassy requirement, so the rejection chances are minimal initially on this. I can present it at a later stage, by hooks or by crooks to the VO.

You risk your complete application being returned as ''incomplete'', if you miss out any document required by your visa office. The CIO is very strict on this for post June 26, 2010 applications. Do the right thing!, by hooks or by crooks may earn you a ban.

I tell you one thing, Canadian Visa Officers are like Automatic Vending Machines. You put the correct amount and get the drink, nothing less, not a single cent, there is no sympathy.

Your application must be supported with-

1) Marriage certificate issued by goverment authority
2) Your wife's passport with your name attached to her
3) Marriage photos(if applicable, but I didnt send)
4) Her university transcript
5) Her birth certificate
6)Any other docs as per the rule

Thats it. Nothing less or you will be rejected right away.

You must remember, even geunine marriages are under srcutiny and you are nowhere. And the country you belongs to (accept the reality) makes things more worst. So brother, why take a chance?
