Normal Processing Times from Calgary office?

Something weird is happening in this Calgary. A guy at my place of work who applied in November 2014 had his test yesterday. I applied in May 2014, in process since July 02, 2014 and still waiting for test invitation. This is very very unfair.

They are neglecting older files to move on with the newer one in an effort to bring Calgary processing time closer to national standards but in reality the vast majority are not yet processed. This must be protested because all citizenship applicants applied and paid the fees to get in the 'first come first serve' system, not the 'pay more get more' system. What a corrupted office! Hopefully CBC will present this story.

Sent 2/16/15
AOR 3/19/15
In process 5/11/15

Since my ecas does not have that dreaded 2nd line after the In Process (we have sent to you a letter, ect) I am assuming everything is fine and that my file will soon be sent to Ccaallggaarryy for the usual 1 year wait and extra background checks.

Hometown - Rocky Mountain House (under Calgary's jurisdiction I have been told).

and now...hurry up and wait time!

Hi Folks, one of my friend who processed his application from Calgary end June 2014, just got ecas updated for test schedule first week of June 2015. His application type is single. Now waiting official letter.

I applied in early June, nothing yet. It is weird how CIC is trying to clear applications from both ends. lol I guess early Juners will be the last ones to get test invites. No worries, as long as there is no flood this year!!!!
