Hey Panorama, I am no Master :)
If I was you like aR said, call CIC right now and find out the status of your application.
Family or Single application shouldn't matter.

So call them and and see what they have to say, Looking at the few timelines we have, your test notification should have been issued like NOW.
ECAS takes about a week to update, Ive heard. Or sometimes it doesnt update at all. Once you get a status, keep us posted,

As far as the lethbridge application goes, that timeline was just too lucky. I dont think anyone else from the region had something like this.

@dineshabe, you should call and find out the status of your application too.

Ksenya I believe has already given their test. Now waiting for their oath.

Guys please let us know.

Thanks

That's odd. Your file was in Sydney for a while from 12-Feb-13 to 17-Oct-13 that's 247 days. Whats your application type, Single? Family? I'm sure you'll be hearing from them soon. Make sure you update us as soon as you get any notification. Also, I would call them, just to touch base and get some info outta them.
I have a similar timeline and have updated the excel sheet. I was just told by CIC today that my file was transferred to Calgary on Jan 30`14. So it stayed in the Sydney for 266 days from the processing date!!

Application Received: 12-Mar-13
Started Processing: 9-May-13
Transfer to Local Office: 30-Jan-14 ::)

Good to have a table for the de-facto Prairie 'Capital'. It would be useful to know the following which can influence test schedule:

1. If applicant is age exempt for the test (the test then is a formality for ID confirmation process).

2. More importantly background checks expiry dates - only GCMS will confirm this though you may get a call center agent who informs you.

3. If including non routine applicants any RQ issuance/FP date.

The family vs single applicant can also influence timelines since an issue with one applicant e.g RQ will hold everyone else up - hence IMHO why adults should apply independently.

@a.R Thank you for taking the time to create this spreadsheet, its very useful and is going to help everyone but I have two comments about it and I hope you agree with me:

1. I think it would be good to add a note on top to encourage people who are viewing it to add their timelines as I have been seeing other viewers of the spreadsheet who are not on the list.

2. The number of days for local office transfer to invitation to test is probably is getting smaller as you go down in the column (264, 197, 176, 166) which probably means that the Calgary office is processing applications more efficiently now. Therefore, I don't think its accurate to estimate 201 days for the estimated invitation to test date. I would say maybe around the 166-176 range

Hi Guys ,

Mine is a single application.

I called them just now, he said something like

1)Your application is in process.
2)We have all the documents we need.
3)You are in line to be called for a test soon.
4)You should get a letter soon.
5)If you dont get one by may. please call us asap.

So i guess the end is near. May be they r pushing ppl to the July 1 canada day thing ?

Keep an eye on your ecas, you might get update on ecas before you even receive the letter by post.

@ APR2013APP, I agree with you on both points. The sheet can be accessed and can be edited so feel free to add comments or anything. As far as LOT to Interview notification days are concerned, I made the exact same comments earlier that i would expect the days to be 166 if not lower, as you would expect the calgary office to become more and more efficient to certain point, the historical data represents that. However, the whole purpose of the sheet is to give people an idea when they should expect interview and oath notifications and I would let the users choose how to interpret these timelines. I have set up filters, allowing users to check and uncheck to get the number that you want to use for the average LOT to interview days.

Also, i would appreciate if everyone sticks with the format (Dates, sort by LOC, Avg on Top, etc). Go ahead and add relevant columns if you think they are required. Make sure that the charts are updated and when using filter, please make sure that everything is selected before you close the workbook.

Thanks Dineshabe for including your timelines in the excel sheet. Turns out that Panorama47 and your timelines are almost the same. You guys should be hearing from them soon. Interestingly, both of your guys LOT is on Oct 17 th while touché was Oct 11th, only six days apart and yet neither of you have heard anything. This makes me wonder if CIC is processing applications in batches with cut off dates such as mid of the month or they wait for a certain number of files to be completed and then contact the applicants. Touché might have made the cut for the last batch while you guys didnt. Anyone know how often CIC Calgary holds test? Is it only once a month??

There is an interesting story behind touché, few days back he reported that he could able to see Oath invite on ecase posted on 19th April 2014, and also mentioned that his family applied in Jun 2012 and he applied in 2013(whatever time he reported) and then he ased CIC to merge his application with his family and CIC did that....thats the reason he was able to get everthing faster.

I dont think touché situation is not a comparable example, assuming the dates are ture.

Hello Folks,

has anyone had to provide an RQ and if so how has it affected your application process (delays, complications or nothing)? Please let me know as I have to submit one and want an idea of what to expect.

thanks
