Hello, more than 6 months waiting for a study permit is normal? Is there anyone with the same situation as me who got a visa? Or even rejected?

Today got my tracker updated, but as usual, it is just a digit ))) ,
So, updates sequence with no changes as follows: 31st May , 3rd June , 8th June, 20th June. Today Exactly 2 months.
Who knows does it mean anything if they make updates on the tracker but no changes ?

Heyyy. Do you see visa details since you have BVL. I’m almost in the same situation as you but I applied in March. I don’t need medicals too and my eligibility completed the week I applied ever since then I’ve been stuck on background check.
do you see visa details on tracker the document status part. Such as your expiration date and visa number ?
Mine updated today too. I’m trying to figure out if it’s updated for everyone as well. Nothing change on mine
It is to long, for a visitor visa it could be even 14 months for some nationalities, but for a study permit, it is one of the worse scenarios.
i have got no update today. My last update was May 22nd with medical passed.
Idk it’s strange because I’ve found a number of people that got updated today and a number of people that didn’t get updated today. It’s all so weird
if there is an update at least there is some movement happening, hopefully.
I think it is not strange, because these updates are made by a different office, they may send some new information to Canada and they do updates.
Definitely, updates happen in Canada, because I always getting updated in Canadian working time.
