Hi all,

Is anyone reached out to MP for non-routine citizenship application? Is there any update from the CIC?

With Covid, i haven't seen any progress on my application, it is more than 13 months since i submitted CIT0520 i guess for secondary review.

If anyone got any update or advise, please let me know, would be greatful.

My application was non routine due to wanting entry exits from the US side since I traveled a lot for work in years past. I reached out to MP office but really just sent update which I already knew. Non routine and they are working on it and through the backlog of applications. Seems like with no testing going on they could work on some of the backlog.

I reached out through MP, but not much of an update, because of Covid, all applications were delayed... they can't provide timeline and my application is in queue... I am in US, and my PR card is up for renewal early next year.. so fingers crossed, eagerly waiting for citizenship before that

Do you think that submitting I94 records upfront will avoid this delay? I too have lot of entries.

I wonder why officer is asking for entry exit of some other country rather than verifying Canadian system. Looks like they are not even referring to cbsa database. They should not be trusting our passport stamps or records of entryexit from other country.

Yes, submit your I94 entry exit entries. They would reverify it during your Interview. My friend didn't take his I94 entry exit record and was asked to submit it before getting his Oath invitation.
