Do you have any idea when I move to next step?
I really appreciat your help.

Hi @Suman sran

Can you update your PR status.?

You got FD.?

Thanks

I applied my file on ircc on August 3 still i didn't get my AOR. Does anyone knows which date ircc is checking right now

Hi @Miss bee, hope you are doing well.

Quick question here, I received my AOR on December 7th. 2024 and linked my account to IRCC on the same day. Since then I haven't heard anything from IRCC. When I call or check online it says my status is on "Review of eligibility" No medical or biometric is required. Is that normal? and how long does it take for the eligibility review?

Thank you in advance.

Yes, it is normal for your PR application status to remain at “Review of eligibility” after receiving your AOR. The timeline for eligibility review can vary depending on the program you’re applying under, the visa office handling your case, and the overall volume of applications.

What “Review of Eligibility” Means:

This stage involves IRCC assessing whether you meet the criteria of the program under which you applied. This includes evaluating your work experience, education, job offer (if applicable), and other supporting documents.
Timeline:
• Eligibility Review Duration: It can take a few weeks to several months for IRCC to complete this step. Some applications move faster than others based on individual circumstances.
• Factors That Influence Timing:
• The complexity of your case.
• The visa office’s workload.
• Whether IRCC requires additional information from you.

Since your account says “No medical or biometric is required,” it suggests that you’ve either already provided these or they’ve been waived. If your account status hasn’t updated in 1-2 months, you may consider submitting a webform to IRCC or calling them for further clarification.

Sounds good, I guess another waiting phase at this point. Appreciate your prompt response.

Receiving Portal 1 email means your PR application is approved however you are not PR yet . You get official PR status when you get signed ECOPR .
Thank you very much @Miss bee.

Is there an approximate timeline after receiving the P1?? After that, what is next and how long approx. each stage?

Thanks!

Congrats on the progress so far.
Did you submit old medical or a new one was requested when you received AOR?

Did anyone get this update in PR tracker "Background verification status has been updated to in progress". I got this message in Dec 16th. I saw from other thread that I am under comprehensive security screening? Is this true. If anyone got this message, what's your timeline in getting final decision?

Anyone? @Miss bee ?

Hey brother,

I got this message since Dec 2023 and still in background check.
Only god can help to become completed.

Web-form, Contact MP, GCMS note , CSIS note and CBSA note all are useless.
Just Pray.

Do you have any military record or previous visa rejections or anything? And what did your GCMS note say? Are you in comprehensive security screening?
