@Miss bee I received my ECOPR on October 7th, linked to GC Key on October 8th, but there have been no updates since then on my PR Card. It has now been 36 days. When I contacted IRCC by phone, but that didn't help. Do you have any recommendations for actions I can take besides waiting?

Since you’ve received another medical request for your PR application despite submitting an upfront medical in August, here are the steps you could take:
1. Contact IRCC for Clarification: Raise a web form inquiry with IRCC explaining that you already submitted an upfront medical exam for both your PR and WP applications. Mention the date and provide any proof, such as receipts or the IME (Immigration Medical Examination) number if available. Request clarification on whether they truly need another medical exam or if it was issued in error.
2. Consider Completing the New Medical Exam: If IRCC confirms that they require a new medical exam, then you’ll need to undergo it again. Sometimes IRCC requests updated medicals to ensure all records are current and valid during final processing stages, even if you’ve done an upfront exam recently.
3. Review the Refusal Reason for Your Work Permit: Since your work permit was refused in September, ensure you have a clear understanding of the reasons. This can help determine if there’s anything on the PR application that might also require clarification or additional documentation. You could consider reapplying for the work permit if it’s essential for your current status, provided you address the refusal reasons.

4. Keep Your PR Application Updated: Since you’ve received the AOR and are progressing with the PR process, keep track of any additional requests from IRCC and respond promptly. If your work permit refusal affects any details in your PR application (such as employment details or intent to work in Canada), update IRCC accordingly through a web form.

Hi @Miss bee

As i checked my email which i received for WP refusal is below

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph 200(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/
section-200.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors:
• You do not have significant family ties outside Canada.
• You were not able to demonstrate that you will be able to adequately perform the work
you seek.

Please help in this matter and thanks for prompt reply.
