Thank you so much for your reply. I am outland applicant. And I think outland applicants cannot apply for GCMS notes.
no problem!
I’m not sure about outside of Canada applying notes. It does show an opinion saying ‘Foreign National Outside of Canada’ tho.

Oh I will check it..I thought I read somewhere that foreign nationals need to have an inland representative atleast to apply. But good thing to double check for sure

Yeah. It says this "To be eligible to make a request under the Access to Information Act or the Privacy Act, you must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or an individual or corporation currently present in Canada"

Oh... so sad. Then the only way is if you have anyone in Canada can represent you to apply.

I guess Privacy Act provides information for applicants outside Canada, but need to pay $?
I was able to fill for Privacy Act with my another information from my home country like home address, phone, etc.
Also I ordered GCMS notes by selecting 'Privacy Act' (I selected the foreign national inside Canada).

So go for Privacy Act. I received all three GCMS notes without any charge.

This might have been asked before here but I don’t know how to search for it.

I haven’t paid for biometrics along with my pr application. I’ve done biometrics when I had my study permit and it’s valid until 2026.

I just realized they made changes in June 2023 and every pr applicant has to get biometrics done.

Should I pay biometrics and provide receipt through web form now or wait until I get AOR? If I don’t submit a receipt now, will it slow my application?

Short answer: Even if you will need to do BIO again, you should wait until further notice.

More details:
I got BIL with PAL, just in case. When I provided BIO, Info Sharing went to 'In Progress'.
So I guess it may slow yours down, but not much. The most important thing is 'Security' which varies from a few days to more than a year.

Redundancy:
https://ircc.canada.ca/english/visit/biometrics.asp
Please check your situation. According the tool, my partner should've provided, but she didn't have to.
My partner had BIO on 2019 and she didn't need to provide again. (The tool above seems just a guide.)
(Her BIO was for a single-year open work permit.)

So you mean, even if it's a foreign national who is NOT living in canada, They can also apply?
Like I said, try. Guessing it's working, but my three GCMS was obtained inside Canada.

I guess Privacy Act provides information for applicants outside Canada, but need to pay $?

Good to know, thanks for info. I guess I’ll wait.

Did your partner apply after June 2023?

I started to think how complicated am I

But from what I see none of you who move so fast is Winnipeg IRCC. So there is another possibility that is the Winnipeg IRCC is really a piece of S

There are different statuses in my online tracker and GC key
My online tracker states Eligibility=Not started, Background check=Inprogress
Where as Gc key says Eligibility=We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements
Background check=Not applicable.

Can anyone advise which one is more accurate
Hi, I have exactly same status as you, both are inaccurate, I ordered my GCMS, Eligibility passed, criminality completed, security not yet started.. may I know your AOR date? did you pass medical?

Did you follow up with IRCC via webform for Portal 1 as well or only for Portal 2?
