@Miss bee , I didn’t pay biometrics fee with my application because I thought mine were already done. I later paid and tried submitting my biometrics payment receipt via web form before I received my AOR, but then I received AOR on April 10 but they said they didn’t have my biometrics receipt and asked for biometrics payment. I uploaded my biometrics receipt via web form again and received confirmation that it was received on April 14. I have still not received my BIL now. Can you please tell me when will I receive my BIL? Thank you!

Can I ask you all question? I really need your help.
When I submitted my application, I didn’t pay the biometric fee because I thought the biometrics I provided before were still valid for 10 years, so I assumed I didn’t need to give new ones.

Is there any way I can pay the biometric fee now and inform IRCC, so it won’t delay the processing of my application?
I tried to submit my biometrics receipt by web form after submitting my application for a similar reason. I received a response saying it was added to my application but when I received my AOR, they still said they didn’t have my biometrics payment. So I submitted it again via web form after. So what you are talking about didn’t work for me. I hope it works for you.

I got ADR to pay for biometrics, and submitted it in February 15th, only receive the confirmation from the web form an nothing after that.

@Miss bee I got my PAL AND ALSO IN MY PR TRACKER IT SHOW ME THAT MY BACKGROUND IS COMPLETED AND IDK WHY IT SHOWING ELIGIBILITY AS NOT STARTED AND ALSO MY COPR DETAILS IS SHOWING WITH A EXPIRY DATE AND THE EXPIRY DATE MATCHES MY WORK PERMIT EXPIRY DATE IS THAT A GOOD SIGN ? And also what next should I expect to recive please let me know.

@Miss bee I submitted my application on April 20, 2024 — over a year ago. A few days ago, I received an Additional Document Request (ADR).

The ADR was related to my son, who turned 18 years old in February 2025. Immigration requested information about his travel history and related documents. The request was issued on April 17, and I submitted the documents the same day.

All other steps have already been completed:
  • Biometrics were requested and approved in August 2024.
  • Medical exams were requested and passed in September 2024.
  • We also received the Pre-Arrival Services Letter (PAL), which, as I understand, indicates that we passed the eligibility stage.
Since September 2024, we have been waiting at the Background Check stage. We are a family of four. All four of us were stuck at “Background Check in progress” until recently. On April 17, 2025 — the same day the ADR was issued — the Background Checks for my wife and myself were updated to “completed.” However, both of my sons — the one who is now 18 and the one who is 14 — still show “Background Check in progress,” and have been in that status since September.

According to my tracker, the only pending item now is the Background Check for my two sons. Everything else is completed.

Given these circumstances, what should I expect now? Is this a positive sign?

Thank you very much for any insights you can share.

Hello,

I've received the pre-arrival services letter couple of days ago (a day after receiving the medical request and ADR (updated imm5669)). I've completed my medical exam and submitted the ADR yesterday.

What does PAL signify in terms of where the PR application is at? My tracker shows 'Background Verification' as 'In Progress' and 'Eligibility' as 'Not Started'.

Thank you!

Does anyone know how I can apply for an LMIA-exempt work permit? My employer has already paid compliance fees, but I am confused as below things ask me in the documentation checklist.

  1. Invitation Letter (required)
  2. Proof that you meet the Requirements of the Job Being Offered (required)
  3. Also, I want to know anything need to add under additional documents.
@Miss bee, your guidance will be appreciated

1. I'm assuming this is the provincial nomination letter. Can you be more specific?
2. Any proof that you're qualified to do the job. For example, if your job is in a health setting, provide proof of any previous experience in similar roles or a diploma in healthcare. I work in a manufacturing setting and provided proof or my bachelor's diploma
3. Follow all the mandatory documents required in your application. Make sure to include a recent employment letter, the contract, a recent paystub, and any other supporting documents you used for your provincial nomination application.

I just got mi closed work permit approved after 7 months.

I have a question. My wife and I just got our WP extensions approved while we wait for our non-EE PR application to be processed. This is our timeline:

Inland Non-EE PNP / PR Application
Submitted - Jul 23, 2024
AOR+BIL+ADR - Dec 23, 2024
ADR sent - Dec 24, 2024
Biometrics submitted - Dec 30, 2024
Medicals passed - Feb 3, 2025
PAL - Feb 4, 2025

Our next step would be final decision and then P1. I've seen other people with similar timelines receiving P1 or even P2 already.

My wife wants to travel outside of Canada by the end of May for a week. What are the scenarios if:

1. We get P1 while she's outside of Canada (considering she'll only be away for a week).
2. We get P1 just before she leaves Canada.
3. We get P1 and P2 before she leaves Canada.

We're considering any complications with her/our PR process before deciding to travel.

I'll appreciate your help.
