I was also thinking so. I tried to connect TFN to GCkey or the tracking system but couldn't find it. Also, I know that IRCC said that any background check wasn't started yet.

Temporary file number means your application is still in R10 completeness stage which means they are still checking for all required documents. AOR can come anytime soon however you can try to drop X from your temporary application number and try to link application to Gckey. Your application will be same even after getting AOR .

I tried that too but with no success. System says: "We couldn't find anything"

It’s too early to assume that. You applied in June . AOR can takes around 2-3 months. If you got temporary AOR that means they are working on your application and putting your details in their database. Your application is still in early stage and once you get AOR it will be assigned to an officer.

Got portal 1 already with copr details on tracker waiting for portal 2 as now Montreal office is taking little more time for issuing portal 2 but I’m getting laid off soon maybe in 2 weeks will it create any problems if I get laid off before copr

Congrats. May I ask you why your biometric passed so late? We have a similar timeline, and biometrics is still in process. We did biometric for our temporary visa application.

Hopefully, you get it before that. Looks like that last person took 20 days to get portal 2 from Montreal VO.
