NOC Match

Hi all. I am submitting 4 experience letters because I had 4 different jobs (all are same NOC) in my EE profile. Should I meet the 70% match of duties in every letter (all my 4 jobs) or the match can be spread out through my 4 jobs matching a 70% altogether?

Each job has to match the NOC description individually. In other words, each job is assessed individually regardless of what you did in other jobs. Good Luck!

That seems to be quite impossible as to match the duties in every job. Like one of my job was in a company with 2000 people and its impossible to meet the duties as listed when you are assigned only specific tasks due to the size of the staff in the company.

The CIC mandates that for any NOC match to happen, the respective Reference Letter must match the duties (atleast 70-80%). In your case, all the Reference Letters must match the respective NOC duties individually. Be very careful while choosing the NOC code. Good luck.

NOTE: The NOC match cannot be spread across various Reference Letters.

Hey all

I have just given my IELTS and scored 9 9 7.5 & 7 in L R S W. Now I am confused about my work experience that which one will be counted and am I eligible to apply for express entry. I am an MBA and passed out on March 2013.

1. April 2013-October 2013 - Worked as a research analyst with ICICI Securities.
2. October 2013 - November 2014 - Worked in my family business which is a proprietorship in the name of my dad. I didn't draw any salary from there, so not documented proof.
3. Deceber 2014 - October 2015 - Worked with ICICI Bank.
4. December 2015 till today - I started my own mutual fund consultancy, advising clients and selling mutual funds. We don't raise any bills and the commission earned is credited to my account every month by all the companies whose products I sell.
5. April 2016 till today - Along with my mutual fund consultancy I became a partner in my family business where I am drawing a salary every month in the records. The salary isnt credited to by bank but is added to my capital and its mentioned in the partnership deed also.

I would like to ask if I am eligible for express entry and if yes then how should I proceed. Which work ex to show in the profile.

there are job specific NOCs and overall NOC- that needs to be for the most recent job and the one that will get you points.
