I did postal application. The status on BLS website started showing as processing at Consulate General on June 28, 2023. The OCI website started showing my record on July 7 2023. It took 10 days for me after the BLS update to see my record on OCI portal. I would say its a 1 to 2 week time frame...

Thanks for the reply Abbas. Only thing worries me about mail in is BLS rejecting the application for something like photograph and sending the package back. I have seen some of the posts on here and a lot of google reviews on this issue.

Hi everyone. I'm debating whether to do the passport surrender in person as walk-in or by mail. I live 4 hours drive one way from Brampton. If I want to do it as walk-in, is it better to do it on a Saturday? Or should I do it on a weekday (I would need to take a day off for weekday)? Any idea...

My oath is schedule for May 9th as well. When did you get the reschedule notice? Does it show up on the tracker?

My LPP was completed March 14th. Oath got updated on April 14th (tracker update was on April 18th).

Hi all. I need to submit my application by December 19th. I'm trying to pay the fee. When I go to the website to pay the fee It's only showing me the option of Right to permanent resident fee which is 490$ but not the application fee (550$). Where will I see the option of the fee for 550$...

That seems to be quite impossible as to match the duties in every job. Like one of my job was in a company with 2000 people and its impossible to meet the duties as listed when you are assigned only specific tasks due to the size of the staff in the company.
