There are a few that I could shortlist, but I'm not certain which of these would best fit the bill.

Hi.. I have been working in the Learning and Development space for more than 6 years now and have applied for my PR recently... I have used NOC 0112 and got my employment reference letter to match the same..
Also I think if you are looking to select NOC for yourself - read the lead statement from CIC website and also look at the roles and responsibilities, whichever NOC seems to match more select that NOC.. people on various forums say that it should match about 60% at least.. I have followed the same.. I have not received my PR yet, so can't say more.. Good luck!

hi, I'm most probably replying too late but i think you should also look at the NOC 4021 - college and other vocational instructors, unless of course you are most definitely part of the Human Resource Dept. then one of the above would make more sense. NOC 4021 also includes Vocational trainers, staff trainers, etc.

I am facing the same issue with NOC. I have recieved an ITA. I have been working in training and development and selected NOC 0112 however I can only match around 2 job responsibilities from the list with what I do. Can someone who has submitted a work experience letter for NOC 0112 please advice on how to do about this?

Also I think if you are looking to select NOC for yourself - read the lead statement from CIC website and also look at the roles and responsibilities, whichever NOC seems to match more select that NOC.. people on various forums say that it should match about 60% at least.. I have followed the same.. I have not received my PR yet, so can't say more.. Good luck!

Hi. Many congratulations on getting your ITA.
To answer your question - Yes, I got my PR and I moved here in the last week of Jan 2020. I got my proof of work from a previous org in the below format and there were no questions asked by CIC. I am not an expert but I created all of this on my own and then got it printed on company's letter head by HR. I have performed all the duties mentioned & used the roles and responsibilities for NOC 0112 as a reference and worded it accordingly. It's still not a 100% match but got my work done. Feel free to use the below format -

Note My HR did not provide compensation details in the reference letter, so I added my 6 months payslips, hike letters & bonus letters.

I have overall 6.10 years into training and development out of which 2.4 as corporate training specialist, 2.5 learning and development operations and 2 years into vendor management for training. I found NOC 0112 is matching to my profile, however i see only 4 listed job responsibilities are matching to my work experience. What should i do? please guide me. Thank you

Hi there!
If you read the bullet points it may not absolutely resemble your work. I would suggest that you see things are are similar to what you have done in your roles and try and map both together. It does not have to be an exact match with CIC's format but more closer it is, better for your application.

There were 1 or 2 things that I may have been a part of indirectly but because I had the knowledge of that particular task I worded it to match.. You can follow the same too... Hope this helps...

Always look at the lead statement for NOC and the roles and responsibilities.. If majority of it matches the NOC 0112 you can use.. It all depends on whether you can get the same on your company's letter head... Good luck!

Second,I am confused while finalizing NOC code since 0112 lead statement and R&R would focus more on HR not in L&D.

Please suggest which NOC code to choose for L&D
