I am doing same job Roles(noc b)as machinist for 2 years but tricky employers are writing it as machine operator(noc c)
If they call it machinist, they have to pay high-wage.
Looking for suitable answer how to satisfy immigration officer?

I never knew that the employer has to pay high-wage to CNC machinist. Is this only applicable for the closed work permit holders?
Are there IRCC wage guidelines for specific professions?
So, if my wage isn't high enough for my job title, then are they going to refuse my paper?

Hello Everyone

When I search online for CNC machine operator noc code it shows up two different codes which are 9417(Machining tool operators) and 7231(machinist and machining and tool inspectors). I am confused between two. If anyone knows about it please reply.

Replying to a really old thread lol, i am in the same boat. I am doing duties of machinist and the employer is using the same title as well, but my pay was 16/hr in 2021 . Did your file go through?
