NOC-B code 2281 or 2282 please help ? Network Operation analyst

Hi guys ,

i worked as NOCC analyst from a Internet/Voice service provider
1) I have reference letter from my previous employer with the below duties


.Monitoring , Troubleshooting , and maintaining all aspects of xxx voice and data networks
.Interface with telcos to report network troubles , Completes follow up to ensure problem resolution
.Documents all problems reported by the way of trouble ticket system
.communicates network outages to appropriate departments in timely manner
.monitors existing gateway sites and resolves any trouble found as quickly as possible to ensure minimal interruption of service to xxxx customers

does this fit under Noc 2281 or 2282 , confused please help (i got ITA and i have declared this as NOC 2281 i wanted to make very sure )

2) and i don't have end date in the reference letter . since i got this when i was working . so can i request a letter stating from my old employer with my period of employment and attach to my reference letter ?

Should be 2281. NOC 2282 is purely helpdesk/technical support and more like Tier 1.

NOC 2281

You should get a new letter so it has the end data on it.
Also if you are able to customize the wording for job duties in order to match the NOC better, i'd say go for it. You employer shouldn't have a problem.
Many folks write their own letters and have the employer build it on company letterhead.
