Hi everyone. I am newbie in the forum. I find this place very interesting and would like to share my ideas regarding our beloved profession's NOC- 4011.
My application reached at CIO on 17 December. So I am in the same situation as some of you guys.
First of all, I am sure that 330 pending applications are those which have been charged AND the ones which have been passed ONLY check for completness.
Lets think logically, we can assume that 483 are those apps. Which were nominated PER. As far as we know from Ss or forum the latest PERs were for mid Sept to early Oct apps. Right?
So it is very unlikely that CIC received around 330 apps between mid Sept to even the end of Oct right? So November apps are also counted in 330(IMHO)
Maybe Dec apps are not included so during 20 days lets say 150 apps are received. Also I think that not all of 330 pending apps are going to pass through.

According to CIC website:

"Note: Due to the large number of applications we get, we cannot check that each one is complete on the same day it gets to the office. The numbers on this page are updated at least once a week, but are only a guide. There is no guarantee that an application sent in now will fall within the cap by the time it gets to the Centralized Intake Office"


So we believe it is until Dec 16, 2014. Let's see.

My application is in "Mississauga, ON, Canada 12/21/2014 10:35 P.M. Departure Scan"-->UPS status. So I believe my application will be delivered on Monday(Dec 22,2014). If all our date calculation is true then I will occupy one count in that remaining 180 cap..let's see. I really don't know what will happen. ahah

Hi Missionquebec,

Do keep us posted about your 4011 status, My application reached on 30th Dec.I feel this Noc will not cap out.So we have a fair chance.

My application for 4011 reached on 30th Dec, If i get in the cap , It means everyone gets in....
I feel we all have a chance as this is not a hot NOC.

I also have a hunch that CIC is becoming picky about the applications.
Correct me if i'm wrong here, The FSW2014 spread sheet has stopped updating after 31st dec.
I don't see a single new entry in NOC By fee encashed date tab.
Also, CIC has removed the application cap page for FSW 2014.

I read some where that with respect to CIC "No News is Good new"
So keeping my fingers crossed.
Keep you chin up folks, I'm sure we'l all make it.

The onus is on the applicant to provide information to satisfy the officer that they meet the requirements of the category they are applying under. When applying, please make sure you provide information for all the requirements and answer all the questions.

Why she received this message? Did she send additional docs separately from her application package? I am wondering.....

Yesterday I found this new information and was in real panic - I've also sent my 2nd package to CIO on Dec 17th, because my 1st one, received on Sept 29th, wasn't charged. To stay in game I decided to gather new docs, moreover I found a mistake in previous. But after panicking I tried to analyse. I suppose the following.
If to look on CIC and SS data we can reach some conclusions. Most interesting are NOCs, which were closed before. NOC 2174 was closed first - on 10.10 - but there are still 8 apps pending; NOC 1112 closed on 11.7 and 7 apps are pending; NOC 2173 - 11.12, 16 apps pending; NOC 2171 - 11.21, 161 apps pending. And the most surprising NOC 3012, closed on 12.11, has 254 apps pending. Looks like it means, that CIO works in such way: firstly they check, if apps are complete and sort them to complete and incomplete. Than they work with complite apps. Counting them, CIC says if cap is closed or no and publishes this information much earlier, than all 1000 apps will be processed. That's why NOCs, which are closed more than 2 months ago, still have pending apps. As for unclosed NOCs, the number of apps pending probably means, that thay were received in Oct, Nov and partly Dec, and they're not all charged. If it's so, our NOC will not be capped and those who sent their apps even in the end of Dec, can be in quote.
